Part 35

*WANDAS POV*

as I wake up I see that we all fell asleep on the sofa after we got back from fighting fisk. I slowly get up, leaving Pete with the kids so I can wake myself up a bit. I make myself a cup of coffee and a plate of sausages and bacon and sit back down next to Pete. I turn the TV on and start watching reruns of the Simpson until someone else gets up "morning Wanda" loki says flipping a knife in his hand "if you want to hold the kids please put the knife away" I say before taking a sip of coffee, as I asked loki puts his knives away and cradles lizzie in his arms before using his magic to form royal Asguardian armour that resembled his around her. "there much better, now you look like your favorite uncle" he says trying to subtle walk off with her before I use my powers to make her float back to me "I don't think so, I don't need her becoming queen of assguard" I say as I hold her up to me and I blow raspberries on her soft cheek making her giggle and hug me. After about 5 minutes I see Pete wake up as well as Tom who he was trying to grab petes finger. "cmon Tom get daddy's finger" I say as me, Pete and lizzie are watching him try to grab his finger "hang on, have the guardians met the twins yet?" Pete says while quietly stealing a sausage from my plate "hey! Get your own, also no I don't think they have" I say handing lizzie over to Pete so I can start a video call with quill and his crew.
"hey guys how are you" I hear quill answer while everyone else huddles up so they can see us "I'm not sure if we introduced you to the newest members of the family" Pete says holding the phone up to Tom's face "quill, we must return to earth immediately" drax says as I move the phone so they can see lizzie as well "how much?" me and Pete look confused and then back to rocket "how much, for the twins?" he repeats before gamora takes the phone "we'll be there in 2 hours" she says before hanging up. "well I guess their coming back later" I say grabbing a toy of the floor and giving it to lizzie who I'm bouncing on my knee while Pete goes and makes himself some breakfast while I sit lizzie back down so I can finish my breakfast. "mornin" Tony walks in with an empty coffee cup while looking like he's had a mental breakdown before Nat comes in behind him and hugs him which makes him form his gauntlet around his arm and aim at her "jesus Nat, whyd you do that" he says putting a hand to his chest and taking slow and scared breaths. While Nat laughs her ass off. "good morning to you too" she says kissing his cheek before sitting down next to me and starts playing with Tom on her lap. "oh by the way we showed quill and the others Tom and lizzie and now they're going to be here later" Pete says taking a sip from his coffee as he sits next to me before deciding he needs a quick swing around the city. "hey Tom you wanna come with daddy?" he says walking over and taking him off Nat. He just starts laughing so Pete takes that as a yes.

*PETERS POV*

I quickly grab a backpack to put Tom in while I swing. Once I put my suit on a I put Tom in the backpack and swing off into the city while Tom makes a series of excited babbles. We swing for a while until I see a couple kids looking at me so I decide to swing down and see if I can entertain them for a few minutes. "hey guys how are you?" I say while hearing kids whispering. "is that his kid?" one kid says "is it true he's dating scarlet witch, maybe it's her child" another says while others just wanna se me do cool tricks "OK 1. yes hes my child 2. Yes hes also the scarlet witches" I mentally cringe at calling Wanda by here alias but she told me that she doesn't want people except her freinds and family knowing her real name. "can you do a flip?" one kid asks before the others start cheering "of course hey kid can you hold my son please" I say to a kid while I take the backpack of and give it to the kid "why do you keep your son in a backpack?" he asks while I'm mid flip "because, if I don't I can't swing with him but don't worry he's completely safe in there" I say before getting a call from Wanda "sorry I gotta take this" I tell the kids while I answer it and take Tom back from the kid "hey babe what's up?" I say while bouncing Tom up and down in my arms "nothing, just wanted to make sure you and Tom are OK" she says while I hear Clint get chased by Nat in the background "what's Clint done now?" I ask which makes Wanda chuckle "he glued her #1 mom mug you got her to the table, and since it's her favourite mug she's really pissed off now" she says while I hear the kids mutter about Wanda in the background "tell her to use the same formula I use to dissolve webbing quickly I'm pretty sure that'll work" I say sitting on a bench with Tom and trying to ignore all the looks I'm getting "it worked, she's stopped chasing Clint now" she says while I get up and head over to delmars to get a sandwich "anyway I gotta go, love you bye" I say before hanging up and slowly swinging with one arm to delmars "hey Mr delmar" I say walking in and trying to forget the looks I'm since I'm in my suit "I'm guessing you want the usual?" he says already working on it "yes please, I'd like to introduce you to my son" I say sitting him down on the counter while making the lenses on my suit do silly things to keep him entertained "what's his name?" he says handing him a free chocolate bar "Tom, I also have a daughter called lizzie" I say sitting me and Tom down on a nearby table while we wait. "hey um s-spiderman do you uh remember me?" the same kid who gave me my idea for my suit approached me what was his name? Kilometers, millimeters? Oh that's right! It was miles "miles right? Yeah I remember you, gave me the idea for my suit" I say causing him to look proud of himself "miles who are y-oh hey spider man" it was Jeff he was miles father "hey Jeff how are you?" I ask while Miles is playing with Tom "I'm pretty good thanks for the help with fisk the other day" he says pulling a seat up so we can talk "it's fine anything I can do just call me" I say looking at miles entertaining Tom "you have any siblings?" I say as I use my powers to float my sandwich to me "no" he says looking at me as if his life hangs on my every word "how old is your kid?" miles asks nor wanting to push the subject further "kids and their only 5 days old" I say while eating my sandwich "well I gotta go home now, stay safe Jeff" I say nodding towards him and shaking miles hand "see you around kid" I say before taking Tom and going home. I go home and find everyone including the guardians watching a film "I am groot" at first Tom seems scared at all the new faces but soon gets comfortable and is rolling on the floor with groot and lizzie (I'm keeping groot a baby cos he's cute) after groot Tom and lizzie are stopped rolling I see drax sitting next to them and he slowly introduce the twins to the guardians. I literally had to pry mantis away from Tom "but he's just so cute, I want him!" she says as I take her off and guide her back to her seat like a kitten . That's an idea, get the kids a kitten they'd love that. "hey Wanda, we should get the kids a cat" I whisper in her ear before returning my attention to the film.

*1 hour later*

After the film all of us are just sat around talking about whatever came to mind until everyone starts to head to bed "we should probably sleep too" I say once it's just me and Wanda awake, we put the twins to bed during the film "yeah let's go" I say using my powers to float us to bed. "goodnight babe" I say tucking myself into bed and kissing wandas forehead "goodnight Pete" she says returning the kiss but this time on the lips as we both fall asleep in each others arms.
