Part 44

*WANDAS POV*

I open my eyes and see that Peter is snuggled up to me with his head nestled into my neck "morning Pete" I say which causes him to flinch "sensory overload right" I say much quieter. All I get in response is a pained nod "ok just stay here you'll be fine" I say brushing a strand of hair out of his face before going to the living room to get him a glass of water. "I'm guessing petes having an overload again" Kate says looking up from a book she was reading "mhm" I say before going into our room and put the glass down on the side. "cmon you gotta drink" I say before he reluctantly gets up and takes small sips from the glass. "just take small sips every few minutes, I'll come back later" I say kissing his forehead and leaving for the living room with the twins in my arms. I sit down and watch TV while Kate plays with the twins as I'd they were her own "I never knew you'd be so good with kids" I say as Tom clumsily floats a toy to himself "just because I was trained by Clint dosent mean I picked up on his terrible parenting techniques" she says making me laugh and Clint pop out from the vents, "what'd you say about my parenting ability Katie?" he says glaring daggers at her "nothing bird brain" she says putting her middle finger up at him as he drops from the vents. "sure you d-" Clint gets cut off by the news that says 2 people are attacking the city "no rest for the wicked" Clint says grabbing his bow and quiver as we start heading to the quinjet "alert everyone about the attack" we say to Tony's newest ai Edith "of course Ms maximoff" the robotic voice says as we go to head for the door but somethings not right, the doors are locked. "Edith why are the doors locked?" Kate says while Clint trys busting the doors down "Mr Parker has overwritten my code" she says as I start banging on the door which scares the twins at the loud noise. "Peter Peter open the doors now, you need to rest!" I say before getting a response "people are in danger no amount of pain can convince my to not go" I hear him go through a window to the city. "Edith track Peters location and vitals" Clint says acting surprisingly seriously "I'm unable to track his location but I can keep you updated on his vitals" she says as I put the twins down and put my hqnd to the comms device in my ear "tony, Nat petes having a sensory overload and went out to face the danger!" I say trying to sound calm but actually freaking out. "I'll get him" I hear Tony's voice come through the comms before I hear a explosion and hear Tony fly out of the compound.

*PETERS POV*

As I swing towards the danger I hear every scream of terror and every whimper below me, its absolute hell but I need to be strong. I swing down to the city and see rhino and that electric guy  from a few months ago wreck the place "hey guys long time no *sigh* see" I say trying not to let the overload take hold "kill him" the electric guy says as rhino comes charging at me. I dodge just about but I get blasted with lightning which makes me drop to the ground making me scream in agony while I convulse "I'm honestly a bit disappointed, I thought you'd put up more of a fight" he says still shocking me, he takes a breif break from shocking me which gives me enough time to web his leg and trip him up. "just shut up" I say grabbing the tattered collar of his shirt and I go to punch him but my overload takes over causing me to drop him and stumble back in pain. Just as I feel my overload become more manageable I feel a massive metal fist make contact with me which makes me go flying into a car "this spider man is broken, I want refund" rhino says as I pick myself up and face him while grabbing onto my side "come and get me" I say walking over to him as he throws a chunk of rubble straight at me. "kid!?, where are you?" no no not him not now "I'm fine!, get our of here" I say pushing the rubble off of me which gives my location to him "what we're you thinking!?" he says flying down to me and retracting his helmet. "go!" I say getting unreasonably angry at him "2 heroes huh, this'll be fun" the electric guy says blasting just above us which makes some rubble fall on us. I hear more screams of terror from outside the rubble cacoon I was now in. I try pushing the rubble off but my senses are becoming unbearable to handle and I drop it again which makes more rubble fall "shit, Tony!" I say looking around until I see Tony unconscious with a massive concrete chunk laying on him, his face has blood dropping from the forehead while the rest has smaller cuts and scrapes all along it. "come out, come out, wherever you are" I hear rhino say lifting the concrete off me before grabbing me and throwing me into a building. In the building I see loads of terrified people running and screaming while a very bright light shines right in my eyes. "here's the iron boy" I hear rhino say before I get blasted through a desk by more electricity "s-s-stay away fr-*cough* from him!" I say getting up, webbing him and  pulling him into the building with me. In that moment pure instinct kicks in and I throw punch after punch at his face, I only stop when I hear him choke on blood "shit" I mutter my self before pushing down on his chest causing loads of blood to erupt from his mouth and onto my mask "I-I'm sorry" I say as he passes our from my punches. I ignore the very loud ringing in my ears and go to face rhino. When I look out the hole in the window and see Tony firing a mix of a unibeam and repulsor beams all at rhino who just shakes the blast off and seats him away like a fly "hey Big bird!" I say throwing a chunk of rubble at him to get his attention I walk out before shutting my eyes instantly to see the sun shining right in my eyes "is the little spider scared of a little sunlight" he says as I attach a Web to a building and swing at him and punch his chest, he grabs my leg as I try to escape and he pulls me closer before grabbing my top half and slamming me in to a rebar pole which goes straight through my stomach "aaaagh fuck!" I say feeling my advanced healing start working but failing due to the pole in me. He winds up a punch but I hear a loud bang and his jaw is nowhere to be seen. Even more blood sprays on my suit before I look to my side and see Nat with a sniper rifle over her shoulder. "m-mom!" I say trying not to move to much "OK Pete, I need you to help me bend this rebar as straight as possible, then hold onto me and pull" she says as I put a weak arm onto the rebar and start bending it "I-I'm so sorry" I say breaking down crying from the pain and the thought of leaving my family. "shh, shh, it OK" she says helping me bend it before getting up and out stretching an arm for me to grab "it's not gonna feel very nice but we gotta do this very slowly" she says as I grab her arm and slowly lift myself out of the pole. I let out on more collection of crying and screams before I feel that the pole is not inside me anymore. I stand up leaning on nats shoulder while my other hand is trying to keep my blood from leaking out "t-thank you mom" I say weakly before passing out on the ground.

*WANDAS POV*

All the time petes been fighting we've been watching the live feed from his suit "how's he still alive!?" Kate says on the brink of tears at the thought of her best friend about to die. As I comfort her I hear a familiar sound of jets and see that Nat and Tony have come back. "someone help!" Nat says not even trying to maintain her badass attitude but just trying to make sure her son is alive. "Pete!" I say running up to Tony who has him in his arms "I'm sorry Wanda" he says retracting the nano tech from his suit to wipe a few tears from his eyes. I see Bruce come out with his lab coat on and is already connecting loads of things to Pete.

*6 hours later*

I've been waiting outside the medical room for any news on peter. A few avengers would come and try comforting me but it'd just made me cry more. After another 15 minutes I see Bruce come out "he'll live but he's very weak" he says and without hesitation I barge through the door and go to petes body "hey sweetheart" I say stroking his forehead before kissing his cheek, I lay next to him and rest my head on his chest "I just wanted to let you know, I forgive you, I forgive you" I say crying into his shoulder harder before starting to sleep. Before I sleep I feel a weak arm wrap itself around me and a pair of lips brush my forehead and thats when I knew it was all going to be OK.
