Part 17

*PETERS POV*

I wake up in my bed with Wanda wrapped around me. I rub my eyes to wake myself up and get out of bed deciding ill go on patrol today i walk over to my bag and get my suit out before Wanda wakes up and sees what I'm doing "uhh Pete you do know your suit was destroyed right?" I find the remains of my suit before sitting at a desk on the side of our room and start designing "what're you doing?" wanda asks curiously as she gets up and wraps her arms round me while I work "I'm designing a new suit, remember that drawing that miles kid made me a few days ago and the suit he drew?" I say getting a few coloured pens "yeah why" she replys while using her powers to float some food to our room "we'll I think I found a way to make it a functional suit, Fri do we have any carbon fibre in storage?" I say making the rough sketch of the suit "we just had a new shipment of carbon fibre yesterday its in storage area 617 if I may ask Mr Parker what are you doing with it?" the ai says in a surprisingly human tone before I walk to the elevator to get the materials with Wanda who was just tagging along."sorry for waking you by the way" I say feeling guilty that she woke up as early as me "it's fine, I was already slightly awake anyway" she says which causes me to relax knowing I didn't wake her too early "can I have a hand with this stuff" I say picking up a few boxes of materials for the suit "here ya go" she says using her powers to lift them. I mentally face palm before using my powers to make them float as well. We arrive at Tony's lab who was blasting AC//DC as loud as possible which caused the tools on his area to shake "morning Tony" I say while Wanda looks at him with a fire in her eyes "morning kids" he says lowering the music before changing it to my playlist "hey babe don't acnoladge him it's not worth it" I say putting the equipment and my tattered suit on a table all layed out "what're you doing Pete?" Tony asks working on his nanotech arc reactor "I'm fixing my suit, if you couldn't tell" I say in a slightly cocky tone before he looks at all the materials I'm using "need a hand?" he says but I shake my head knowing I could get this done in 4-5 hours. I start with a tactical blue bodysuit I always used for suits that was thin and tight but wouldn't restrict my movements and would take tons of force to rip I see Wanda looking at me laughing occasionally at my concentrated face and when I'd accidently prick my finger when applying the red parts to the blue "do we have any bigger lenses for my suit?" I say while looking around for some lenses that weren't cracked or destroyed "here you go Pete" Wanda says throwing two brand new lenses at me. "thanks wands" I say catching them in mid air before attaching them to the mask of the suit. After finishing the mask and attaching the red parts to the blue I decide to take a quick break "cmon I'm having a break" I say to wanda who was fiddling with a screwdriver "coming" she says running up to me before we both sit doen and watch some doctor who for an hour before going to work on my suit "what're you working on?" Nat says scaring me and Wanda "jeez Mom you dont need to creep up on us" I say while guiding her on to see my in progress suit "well ill leave you too it" she says before exiting and kissing my forehead "OK all we need to do is add the carbon fibre and add webs and we'll be back in business" I say to wanda who was beaming at my enthusiasm "your cute when your excited" she says giving me a side hug while I work "tha-agh shit" I say trying to talk but ended up cutting myself on a bit of loose carbon I cut off "you OK Pete?" Wanda says squeezing the cut causing blood to pool out "ow ow ugh" i say in pain as Wanda uses her powers after *disinfecting* the cut to close the wound before getting a plaster to put on my finger "thanks Wanda" I say kissing her cheek before going back to work on the suit.

*2 hours later*

"so what do you think?" I say stepping out the room and into the living room "you look great" Is said from everyone as I take my mask off and show it off to everyone "I am groot" I hear with a small tree tugging on my leg "yeah of course we can go swinging together now" I say as I put groot onto my back as I jump out the window just enjoying the view with groot laughing in the back "should we head back now?, I'm getting a little tired" I say after stopping at a building briefly "I am groot" and we head back to find everyone waiting for us as I put an asleep groot on the arm of the sofa "have fun you too?" Nat says hugging me before announcing that we're gonna watch a film tonight though we weren't sure which one "we should watch robocop 2, I know it's not as good as the original but I'd still like to watch it" Wanda says kissing me before we sit down ready to put the film on I suggest making miniature pillow forts and all of a sudden everyone is running around getting all the pillows to make forts. After everyone is in their own Fort with Scott hope and cassie in one Steve bucky and Sam in another Kate and Clint in another as well as all the guardians somehow squeezed all of them into a single pillow Fort with me Wanda Nat and Tony in the one on the middle sofa. "everyone ready to watch the film" Wanda says using her powers to close the curtains "yeah" is heard from everyone and we start the film

*2 hours later*

"that was a pretty good film" I say with Wanda brushing her hand through my hair "it wasn't as good but it was still good" Nat says before lifting herself out of the Fort and accidently falling on her face "you OK!?" I ask as I vault over and help her up "y-yeah just tired, you should get some sleep" she says massaging her face as Tony carries her like she's gonna die "my hero" I hear her say as me and Wanda walk to our rooms "I got loads of energy still wanna do stuff?" Wanda says pushing me onto bed and through a kiss I say "mhm" and we start taking our clothes off and I turn tbe lights off so we're not disturbed "hey Friday can you initiate sound proof walls thanks" I turn to wanda before getting interrupted by Friday again "you have to authorise it with the code Mr stark has in place" I sit up briefly before responding "override code *sigh* 69" I hear laughs from Wanda before I remember what I was here to do.

*3 hours later*

After were both too exhausted to carry on we decide its best if we sleep "goodnight Pete" Wanda says kissing my cheek "goodnight babe" I say kissing her back and we both hold each other close as we drift off.
