Part 42

*WANDAS POV*

I wake up much earlier than I usually do and put some clothes on I also wake Nat up by gently shaking her. "W-Wanda what's wrong?" she says sitting up "well mine and petes wedding is in eight days and I need to buy a dress before I forget" I say as Nat motions me to turn around so she can get dressed "OK let's go" she says now wearing one of Tony's shirts with a black leather jacket over it. We head to the elevator and go down. While we were going down me and Nat where doing our best to not look like we didn't just wake up. "hang on, they won't be open yet" we say as the elevator doors open and we go to the garage to get nats car. "yeah, doesn't stop us from doing something else though" she says driving out while we sing along to the radio before stopping in front of an ice cream shop "whyre we here?" I ask as we walk in and try to ignore the looks we're getting "we have to kill time somehow, what do you want?" she says reaching in for her money. "mint chocolate chip" (my favourite flavour) I say as Nat gets a normal chocolate ice cream for herself. "so if you don't mind me asking how'd Pete become your "son" I never took you for the kids type" I say sitting down with our ice creams "well, during the accords mess Tony brought him to Germany, at first I didn't think much of him but after everyone was pardoned a month later I went through a tough time, concidered ending it but Pete was worried about me and helped me from having these dark thoughts I'd have from the moment I woke up to the moment I slept, he set me up with Tony which escalated to marriage and in return I helped him befreind a certain witch and I dunno I just always had these motherly instincts when around him, he knew about my past with the red room and how I was incapable of having kids so it was nice having something I never thought I could have" Nat says as I was actually moved to tears about her story "I like that story" I say eating my ice cream, Just thinking about what she said.

*30 minutes later*

After we've had our ice cream we check the time and head to the dress shop at 8:30 we walk around the shop looking at different dresses. "how bout this one?" I say pointing towards a great dress that was in the middle of the room "sure, don't worry about price it's OK Tony's account" Nat says looking at it. "it's perfect" I say as we ask if I can try it on at the counter "go in room 3 please" the worker says as I take the dress carefully and walk to room 3. After I put it on I walk out to show Nat whose speechless "you look incredible wands" she says as I do a little twirl before agreeing that this is the one.

We put the dress in a bag and paid for it and got into Nats car "sooo, back to the compound or something else you need?" she says turning the car on and starts driving "back to the compound, I wanna see the kids and Pete" I say as we drive to the compound.

*30 minutes later*

We arrive back at the compound and put the dress in one of nats hidden rooms so it's a surprise for the big day "hey sweetheart" I say running up to Pete and kissing his lips "hey babe, how've you been" he says brushing a strand of hair out of my face and kissing me while bucky and the kids watch the film behind us "hey lovebirds care to join me?" Kate says as we jump in the vents and join her in her secret hangout area. The cats also jumped in and is now purring up against kates leg. "catch!" she says throwing 2 cans of Fanta at us "thanks" Pete says catching it while turning the ps4 on while I stop the can with my powers and then take it, open it and take a sip before reading a book that caught my interest on kates shelf "you'll like that book" Kate sys as I turn the first page "it's about a brother and sister who go on awesome adventures" Kate says as I instantly get sucked up into the book not wanting to put it down. "hey you three want something to eat!?" Steve says poking his head through the vents "great" Pete says while Kate gives off a small "mhm" and Pete answers for me because I'm to busy reading "what do you want?, I got burgers or I can put together a load of snacks for you" he says while Pete temporarily pauses the game and slides himself over to Steve's head "burgers" he says going back to the game as Steve takes his head out and goes to cooking "wanna play with me?" Pete says loading CTR (crash team racing) "sure, only if your prepared to get your ass kicked" I say putting the book down and sitting next to him with my head on his shoulder while Kate puts her phone down and puts a tally board up "best to 10 wins" she says as the game loads out first match. Overall Pete won 4 matches and I won 6 which made Pete tackle me and tickle me "p-pete stop I hate b-be-ing tickled!" I say in between laughter "yeah but your face is cute when your angry" he says not tickling me anymore and runs a finger down my nose before pecking my lips "ma-ma, da-da" the twins say and we drop down from the vents and pick them up before turning on some music and dancing with them for a while "say cheese!" Kate says jumping from the vents and aiming her phone at us.

*PETERS POV*

"thanks Kate" I say lifting lizzie onto my other arm and setting my wallpaper on my phone as the picture she just took and Wanda does the same "your welcome guys" she says smelling the burgers Steve just made "let's eat and watch a film" I say as me, Wanda, Kate and the twins sit down with food and we put on a film. I take a picture of the five of us and and it to the chat with Ned and mj and adding Kate to the chat as well.

After everyone in the chat introduced themselves to Kate and vice versa we turn the film on and watch it.

*2 hours later*

After the film I see the twins holding onto me and Wanda while they sleep with their heads buried into our necks,i also see Kate asleep with her head on the floor while her legs are still on the sofa. I take a picture and save it to my blackmail folder "cmon let's head to bed" I say picking up a half asleep Wanda who puts a supporting arm round the twins so they don't fall. I walk into the bedroom and put the twins in their cribs before placing Wanda on bed and laying next to her "goodnight babe, I love you" I say before we sleep in each others arms.
