Part 16

*PETERS POV*

I wake up with Wanda around me but as soon as I open my eyes I have a pounding headache and ask Friday to turn the lights down, as much as I love my powers the one thing I still hate are the random days I get sensory overloads "p-pete you OK" I hear Wanda say but to me it sounds like she's yelling directly into my ear "sorry babe I forgot to say that I sometimes get sensory overloads" I say and I sit up in bed "do you want me to do anything" Wanda whispers as she walks over to the light and turns it off "no thanks I just need to sleep it off" I say before Wanda kisses me and walks to the living room.

*WANDAS POV*

I walk out of petes room and see Kate singing "morning Wanda, Where's Pete?" she says as I make myself a coffee and sit on the sofa "he's having a sensory overload thing" I say not fully knowing what it is "oh yeah Nat told me about those, after he got his powers he's get random days where his taste smell and sight would all get overwhelmed" she says as she sits down with a ham and cheese sandwich while trying to fix the fire rate of her bow "do we help in anyway or just let him rest?" I say as I float the controls to me "no I wish I could, Tony's been bugging Bruce for months to make a pill or something so it'd not affect him" she says as I walk over and steal a sandwich from her plate "not cool wands!" which cause me to laugh "morning guys" Scott says with a can of coke in his hand. "jeez you look like crap, you sleep OK?" I say taking another bit of the sandwich I stole "no not really cassie was up all night cos she kept saying the bed was too warm and then said it was too cold untull she passed our from just how tired she was" I see the bags under his eyes and suggest he goes back to bed. "nah it's fine when I was still a criminal I didn't get a minute of sleep and I turned out fine" he says before sitting on the sofa watching the news "you sure? I mean I'm sure hope can take charge for today while you rest" Kate says before testing her bow "much better" I hear her say as I see Nat and Tony walk in "morning guys, Where's Peter" Nat says looking all over "he's having a sensory overload and wanted to be left alone" I said before instantly making 2 coffees for Tony and Nat "thanks wands" Tony says but I give him a death stare "I still don't forgive you for burning down pietros shrine" I say with venom in my voice but he just takes a sip from it and sits down before I get a message from Pete.

I take a bucket out from the kitchen and take it to Peter whose pale as a sheet trying not to throw up "here's a bucket" I whisper putting the bucket up to him and empties his entire digestive system into the bucket "sorry I know this is disgusting" he says laughing slightly before retching again "it's fine I used to have to take care of pietro when he was sick and trust me you wouldn't wanna see hoe much he could throw up in the span of a minute" I see him brighten up slightly before wiping his mouth with a shirt and kissing my cheek "sounds fun" he says before quickly running to the kitchen to get himself a glass of water and chugging it in a Manor of seconds "Pete slow down" I say and he chuckles slightly "you sound like Nat hehe" I look at him before letting him rest a bit more and go back to the living room "I am groot" I look down to the small tree and reply "what's wrong buddy?" I say picking him up in my hand and resting him on my shoulder "I am groot" I walk into the living room and sit down "Peters feeling ill today, sorry" I say feeling sad that groot wanted to go swinging with Pete "don't worry he'll be okay tomorrow though" I say reassuring the little tree as he climbs down my hair and walks to rocket whose fiddling with some gadget or something with Tony "what're we gonna do?" I say bored while wishing Peter was felling better so we could hang out "you OK Wanda?" quill says not knowing about petes overloads "oh yeah I'm just bored" he drops his smile before asking what's wrong. "it's just Pete sometimes his powers make him sick and I wanted to go on a date with him since the last one we went on ended up with him breaking a guys arm" I say laughing slightly at the memory of flashes face when his arm broke "that sucks but I'm sure he'll be OK tomorrow" he says putting earphones on my head and says "this is the song Pete wanted me to play for you when he's not with you" and as he presses play and it starts playing future days (the last of us 2 version) and I quickly start  tearing up. "thanks for that quill" he smiles before responding "he's always thinking about you ya know" and I just smile knowing that before turning on doctor who "I didn't know you were into sc fi stuff wands" bucky says eating a plate of bacon "Pete recommended it to me and I finally have a good time to watch a few episodes" and as soon as the intro plays, Clint comes through the vents "whosewatchingdrwhoitsoneofmyfavouritescaniwatchitwithyouwanda" he says all at once which makes me confused but I understood after thinking about it after a while "yeah of course Clint" he flips out the vents and onto the sofa and we watch a whole season together while everyone else just does stuff around us "can you turn it down please" Bruce says and I see a slight shade of green creep up his neck so I push Clint of the sofa causing a loud thud and turn it down to 14 from 25 "thanks" he says in a slightly deeper tone as his neck goes back to a normal shade "can someone bring this to Pete" Nat says with some chicken soup in a bowl for peter and I use my powers to float it to our room "thank you" Nat says before sitting down with Tony and looking at the TV waiting for us to put the next season on "get up katniss we're watching another season" Nat says kicking Clints leg which makes him sit back on the sofa "screw you tasha" he says before putting the next episode on "i should probably check in on Pete" I say before getting up and seeing if he's OK "oh hi babe" he says looking a lot better "you good?" I say seeing him getting up and hugging me "much better my senses are back to normal or at least normal to me" he says walking to the living room "were watching Doctor who if you wanna join us" I say as we both sit on a chair together with me resting my head on his chest "I am groot!" groot comes running up to us and Pete puts him on hid shoulder "I missed you too and yes I promise, me and you will go swinging tomorrow" he says as groot rests peacefully on my shoulder and we binge another 3 seasons.

*5 hours later*

"cmon we should sleep" I say dragging a tired Pete to bed with my powers "goodnight mom" I hear him say as he waves to nat with Tony still looking sad he doesn't call him dad "thanks wands" he says as he wraps himself in blankets "what about me" I say pretending to be annoyed "get on in here" he says lifting all the covers and I fit right next to him as we just lay there making jokes and funny stories until we finally rest in each others warm embrace welcomeing the day ahead of us.
