Selling

In the blink of an eye a random
bright flash surrounded Yuri
and a circle of inscriptions appeared
underneath her before slowly
turning into a cage.

Yoshida watched, breath taken
away as a cage was appearing around
Yuri; she then noticed that a cage
was also appearing up from underneath
her as well. The bars appeared one
by one from thin air. They were
glowing a bright yellow like the sun,
which made it seem like ages since
they last saw the fiery orb in the sky.

Yuri tried jumping out of the seemingly
magic cage, but collided with the spell,
it felt like hot iron searing her side.

Yoshida watched,stunned, as people
wearing weird medieval outfits appeared
out from behind a rock.

Yuri curled up in a ball, it hurt so
much, what had happened?

Yoshida looked over at Yuri after
hearing her whimper, completely
disregarding the people who were
stepping closer by the second "are
you ok?!" She said with a perplexed
expression on her face.

"No- it feels like I burnt my Fu*king
side!. Can you tell me what you see?
I can't open my eyes..." she said weakly.

"There's these people coming towards
us, they look to be wearing medieval
style outfits" (robes, armour, cloaks)

"hide! I think they are the same people
as last time!"

"We can't hide we're both trapped,
and you saw what happened when
you tried to get out..."

Oh-" suddenly a hand reached through
the spell and grabbed Yuri, the hand
pushed into Yuri's side causing more
agonizing pain.

Yoshida for some reason got really
defensive even though she only knew
this strange wolf for a few minutes,
so she got really angry when she saw
how she was getting treated.

Yuri was thrown into something,
instead of the rough feeling of a
burlap sack she felt the cool insides
of the metal container 'they have
learned' she thought.

As she watched Yuri get put into
a large metal container she felt a
cold hand grab her roughly, and
threw her in the same container as
Yuri.

Yuri felt the warm body of Yoshida
next to her. The next thing she knew,
another bright light surrounded them.
She felt her eyes start to close 'was
this magic?' she thought before passing
out.

Yuri and Yoshida woke up and
found themselves on a cold stone
floor once again in a capsule of magic.

'cold why does it always have to be
cold?' she thought.  'i wonder what
would have happened if I survived
the shooting?' She thought while
producing a slightly annoying
expression.

Yoshida stood up and went to the
very edge of the cage, still not daring
to touch the "bars" considering what
happened earlier. She Turned to
Yuri, "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, just thinking; and my side
burns.. you?"

"I'm alright, but I wonder where we are."

"probably in some old creepy man's
basement" she said sarcastically.

"Come on now don't think that way"
she said just as a man walked in-front
of we're Yoshida was standing.

"told ya.."

The man grabs both Yoshida and Yuri
and puts a weird collar on them which
felt like it was draining a part of them,
then he picks them up to take them
somewhere in which they are oblivious of.

"ugg what the hell, this thing is
suffocating... Oi! Old man can you
hear me!? Take this thing off!" She
yelped "I don't want to be treated
as some dog!"

The old man ignored Yuri entirely
and just kept walking to his destination.

"Why can't her Fu"king hear me!? Ugh!!!"

"Calm down Yuri I think he's just
trying to ignore you" Yoshida stated
as she's a little bit startled.

"still!" She angrily replied.

As the two were chatting, the old man
reached the entrance of his destination,
it was a large wooden door with cool
markings on it. On the inside there
we're a bunch of people who vary from
rich to poor looking, and they're all sitting
in chairs around a circular stage that
someone or something would stand on.

"you know if we die I'm blaming it on
Natasha she always managed to
Fu*k things up!" Yuri yelled.

"You know Natasha!?" Yoshida
said shockingly.

"Ya I know Natasha, she was the
Fu*kgirl in my class... Why? But
wait, how do you know her?!"

Yoshida remembered the one and
only person she knew in her class
who hated Natasha. "Wait Rya!!!??
Is that you?!"

"hell yeah it is! Do I know you?"
Yuri said "my brain is a bit foggy
from what's been going on..."

"It's Cami, god dammit how do you
not know who I am!"

"Holy mother of God! I know why I've
never seen you so panicked and..
and just- Fuck I missed you!!"

"Well it's kinda a bad time for a
reunion cause I think he's setting
us down now..."

"oh yeah totally forgot about that, heh..."

The man sets Yoshida and Yuri down,
they stand there looking at the people
as they say random sums of money,
each being higher than the last
:$50, $76, $100, $1000, $10000
and so on.

"are we being sold?" Yuri asked"cuz
it sure sounds like it..."

"We're probably being sold in an
auction" Yoshida answered, " but
I'm kinda concerned; some of the
people look kinda sketchy."
