Snow

It has been a few weeks since Yuri
and Yoshida had settled into the
cave. They found they had acquired
a skill called soul recovery, which
allowed them to make a full
recovery if they sacrificed one of
their souls that they collected, or
part of their own soul. Yuri had
made the hide of the Chimera into
some nice warm and sturdy clothing
and the horns from the goat into blades.

Yuri and Yoshida were resting in their
cave sound asleep but it felt colder
than usual.

Yuri curled up closer to Yoshida
"it's colder than usual" she
muttered. She slowly got up and
went to close their makeshift door
"I hope it's warmer in the
morning" she said before turning
into her wolf form and curling up
on their bed made of the
remaining hide of the chimera.

Yoshida was laying on the floor,
because she fell, but she was too
sound asleep to realize it was cold.

"Night asshole," Yuri muttered
before going to sleep.

In the morning they both woke up,
and Yoshida realized she woke up
on the floor, again.

Yuri was sprawled out on the bed
in her human form.

Yoshida stood up to wake Yuri up
but she then felt the coldness of the
stone floor as she stepped on it,
and a shiver went up her spine.

Yuri let out a loud snore.

Yoshida shook Yuri to wake her up
to no avail.

"mmmm..." She mumbled, turning
around and falling back asleep.

After seeing Yuri not wake up she
grabbed her foot and yanked her,
sending her flying off the bed onto
the floor.

"gah!" She said sitting up "rudeeeee"
Yuri sneered rubbing her tailbone.

"Well you should've woke up the first
time" Yoshida snarled.

"FIRST TIME!?" She looked at her
"says who!" She crossed her arms
and pouted.

Yoshida huffed "whatever, but off topic,
don't you feel as if it's colder than usual?"

"nopeee. I have the skill of cold
resistance" Yuri said as she stuck
her tongue out.

"How the hell did you get that?"
Yoshida said annoyed.

"Don't know. Just woke up with it"

"Ok..."

"Why, you freezing like a babyyyy?~"
Yuri replied laughing slightly.

Yoshida sighs in annoyance. "I'm
just gonna look outside if you would
like to join, you can," she said as
she started walking away.

"yeah, yeah." She said as she curled
back into bed.

Yoshida looked away, towards the
exit and walked toward it.

Yuri curled back up and tried going
back asleep.

Yoshida stepped outside and found
something she thought she would
never see. The ground was white
and the air was light and crispy,
Yoshida stood there in awe as she
watched the small white flakes fall
to the ground and her breath
coming out in light bursts. Yoshida
was confused about what was
happening, until she finally realized
that this was snow. Yoshida has
never seen snow in person before,
not even in her past life. The ground
almost seemed like it was glowing.
Yoshida was at a loss for words.
As soon as she snapped out of the
little trance she was in, she went
inside, and loudly called for Yuri.
