Yoshida looked at them, confusion
dawning over her as she wondered
why they were running away.

She rubbed her still bleeding hand
before turning around.

She looked dead in the eyes of a
beast that was extremely tall and
creepy looking.

Yoshida kept eye contact with the
massive beast, before slowly
backing up, it's three heads had
locked onto her bloody palm and
they were salivating at the mouths.

Yoshida started freaking out, until
she remembered that her skill was
still activated.

She went to grab the head of the lion
when the snake slithered out and bit
her. Yoshida felt a sharp pain as the
snake dug it's fangs into her wrist,
pumping it's poison into her body.

A numbness spread through her body
causing her legs to give out.

The snake wouldn't let go as she was stuck
there not knowing what to do.

She pulled fiercely but to no avail.
She started looking around for
something she could use but her vision
was growing dull and her body felt
heavy. The beast looked happy with itself.

She looked at her surroundings with
blurry vision and found the same arrow
that had left her hand burnt.

She slowly reached out to it trying to
grab it. The Chimera watched,
interested in what she would do next.

She had difficulty reaching for it;
no matter how far she stretched she
couldn't grasp the arrow.

The numbness got to her arm and
it dropped. Losing all hope to try
and grab the arrow, she let the
numbness spread.

She laid there feeling helpless.

"upgrade skill poison resistance?"
Great sage asked.

"What" Yoshida questioned.

"upgrade skill poison resistance?" Great
Sage repeated.

"Ya ok" Yoshida said feeling defeated.

"upgrade successful" the numbness
in her body slowly started to disappear.

She was gaining her strength back so
she tried grabbing the arrow again.

Her newfound strength allowed her to
reach far enough to grab the arrow
with her still bleeding hand.

She grabbed the arrow hand slightly
burning and sliced it towards the
snake's head.

The arrow sliced right through the neck
of the snake, spraying purple blood
all over Yoshida's arm, "poison resistance upgraded," Great Sage said. Yoshida
grit her teeth and looked back at the
Chimera who was staring daggers while
it's dead tail hung limply from its body.
Yoshida backed up slightly and looked
around for anything she could use to
take down the Chimera.

As she looked around, the Chimera got
agitated as it realized what she had done
to it. It charged at her.

The goat and lion head were terrifyingly
big and it was extremely fast for such
a big monster. Before Yoshida could
comprehend what was happening the
goat's horns managed to clip her side,
causing a burn worse than the cut on
her hand.
