Experiment

"I don't know!!" She yelled shaking,
her ears perking up.

The doctor walked closer to
Yoshida as she was sitting on
the table.

Yuri was shaking not knowing
how to help her friend.

The doctor put the cart next to the
lowered table. They grabbed some
things off of the table.

"scary-" Yuri kept mumbling to
herself as she was sceptical, and
wanting to help her friend but
the leash prevented that.

"Yuri!" Yoshida yelped as the doctor
kneeled down on the ground.

"Yoshida, how am I supposed to help
you? I'm stuck.

After the doctor kneeled in front of
Yoshida a surprising thing happened.

He just grabbed Yoshida's paws and
examined them before grabbing a
Stethoscope.

The doctor was actually quite gentle,
they handled everything with care, they
did each test without scaring Yoshida
or even Yuri too much. That was until
he brought out a needle.

The needle looked huge even though
it was a regular sized needle.

Yuri started whimpering from the
fear of seeing needles.

Yoshida closed her eyes because
she didn't want to see what was
about to happen but the next thing
she knew the doctor was already
done, he did it so fast that she didn't
feel a thing other than the soreness
of her arm.

When the doctor was done with
Yoshida he had to do the same
check up with Yuri; he walked over
to her table. Yuri started shaking
frantically.

"Calm down Yuri, it's actually not
that bad" Yoshida tried convincing
Yuri, they're quite gentle. "Except
the needle was a bit overrated
though," Yoshida admitted.

"doc-tor" she whimpered. "This is the
worst thing that could have possibly
happened!" She said trying to get father
into the corner.

Yoshida huffs. The doctor tries his
hardest to get Yuri out of the corner,
eventually succeeding.

Still struggling in the doctor's hand,
Yuri looked at Yoshida and mouthed
"help me!"

Yoshida said nothing and sat there as
if she knew that it would be fine.

Yuri kept eye contact for reassurance
and forced herself to stay still while
the doctor did his exam.

The doctor flew through the exams
with ease and did it efficiently.

Yuri and Yoshida were brought back
to their cage after they were both done.
Yuri let out an exaggerated sigh
"thought I was going to die!~"

"But you didn't" Yoshida chuckled.

"Yes I did!... Mentally" she shouted but
with a chilled tone.

Yoshida huffed "whatever, I'm too
tired to argue.

"I am too.. you know this kinda
reminds me of when we were in
grade 3, we thought I'd be a cool
idea to sleep in a box fort. It was
cramped, slightly dusty and cold
but we had a blast.." Yuri said
smiling slightly as she had that
memory of the two of them.
