Chapter 15

"Can I take one more day off, Chim?"

"No Tae," Jimin's voice rings around Taehyung's ear, "It's been a week. Jungkook still hasn't recovered yet?"

Taehyung sighed heavily, touching Jungkook's hot forehead with his palm, "Yeah. He still has fever now."

"Maybe you could bring Jungkook along with you? After you're done with the photoshoot, you guys can go home."

"Well..." Taehyung hesitated for a while, soon said, "Sure. I'll bring him there."

"Great." Taehyung hung up the phone, throwing it on the bed. He bends down, placing a soft kiss on Jungkook's cheek, "Baby, you need to follow hyungie to work today."

Jungkook whined, turning around as he again fell into deep sleep. Taehyung again sighed, taking a coat from his wardrobe as he wrapped Jungkook with the thick coat.

"Let's go."

"Please take care of him when I'm not around, Chim."

"Alright, Taehyung. You're been repeating that sentence for nth times. Now go, the sooner you finish the photoshoot, the sooner you can go home with your Jungkookie." Jimin pushed the male away, earning a small growl from him.

"Just... Don't wake him up. If he wakes up, you're doomed." Taehyung said before walking out of his waiting room.

As soon as the door clicked shuts, Jimin's gaze landed on the boy who's peacefully sleeping on the couch. "Aww, he's cute." Jimin cooed, patting Jungkook's hair with his palm.

He sighed, sitting down on another couch, fishing his phone out of his pocket as he began to watch some random videos.

After watching a good amount of stupid videos, Jimin yawned, stretching his body. His eyes widen up when he heard a small whine.

He immediately looked at Jungkook, eyes widen up even more when he saw the baby slowly opened his eyes.

"Damn," Jimin cursed, "Did you have a good sleep, kookie?" He asked the boy with his gentle voice.

Jungkook's eyes were still droopy as he stared at Jimin confusingly. He looked around, tears slowly brimmed in his eyes.

"Oh god, don't cry please..." Jimin went panicked when he saw tears in Jungkook's eyes. He was about to comfort Jungkook but he's too late, the boy already wailed loudly.

Jungkook sobbed furiously, taking deep breath then started crying harder. "D-Daddy..."

"Wait daddy? Who is your daddy-" Jimin winced when Jungkook wailed louder, "Calm down please, kookie. I beg you!"

Seeing the boy got no sign to stop his cries, Jimin quickly dialed Taehyung's number.

His eyes lit up like he saw his life saviour when Taehyung picked up the call, "What is it-" "Help, Taehyung!"

"What? What happened-Wait, is Jungkook crying?!"

Jimin glanced at the crying boy, "Unfortunately, yes."

"I'm going to kill you, Park Jimin. I'm coming now."

Jimin throw his phone away, patting Jungkook's hair as he tried to calm the boy down but the boy just cried harder.

Jimin paced back and forth in the room, sighing out in relief when the door of the waiting room opened, revealing the panting singer.

"Baby!" Taehyung dashed towards Jungkook, hugging the boy tightly. "Shh... Calm down. It's okay now. I'm here..."

Surprisingly, Jungkook's cries instantly stopped when Taehyung hugged him. The boy wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck, buried his head in the crook of his neck.

They stayed in that position for a while until Jungkook finally fell asleep. Taehyung stood up, picking the boy up in process.

"I'll leave now, Chim." With that, Taehyung walked out of his waiting room in rushed.

Jimin stood there in daze, "Who's the daddy Jungkook talking about?"
