MARIA ADA'S POV
A week passed by, graduation is around the corner. I am still planning what to do after graduation. Literally, I will give birth to this child I am carrying. But I really wanted to live on my own after finishing college. I just can't rely on my parents' wealth. Tokyo has been on my mind lately, it catches my interest on how the people reside there. I think I will just let my parents visit me whenever they want in case I will live there.
I stared at the guy who was waving at me from afar. These days, I keep on thinking why on earth he keeps joining us, especially when Lucas is with me. Looking at him right now makes it even weirder, the blond-haired dude stops walking when he reaches my direction.
"I don't know where Lucas is." I informed him.
"Ada, wait!" I was about to go away when he grabbed my wrist. I glared at him, he put a paper on my palm. "I'll see you later." He let go of my hand and walked away. The audacity of that guy is something, I got rejected by him last week and now what? I read the small paper he gave to me.
After the practice, I quickly went to the location that was written on the paper. As I reached the door of the exact hotel room where it all happened two months ago, I took a deep breath first and opened it. There's no one in the room, but there's two glasses and a bottle of wine. I took a few steps inside, to see the beautiful city view of New York. I didn't realize this view until now, I smile while enjoying the view. When I notice something on the bed, it's a white fitting dress. I took the note beside the dress and read it.
Wear this, please.
I look back to the dress, it's not bad though. Besides, I don't think he will notice my stomach anyway. I picked the dress and went to the bathroom. After a couple of minutes, I went out of the bathroom to see the man I had been crush on since first year, sitting in a lounge chair while sipping wine. He smiled when he noticed I was wearing the dress he left on the bed.
"Would you like some?" He asked while holding the bottle of wine.
"No, thank you." I simply decline. I gladly want to drink with him, but not now, I am pregnant for Pete's sake. I can't just drink whenever I want to, I have to think of this little one over here.
"Don't worry, I won't touch you just like before. I just want to spend more time with you." He said while looking at the view outside. I walk a few steps forward to align with him. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. Honestly, I can't remember who I was with that night, two months ago. Until, I slowly realized that it was you. Why didn't you tell me?"
"Will things have changed if I tell you the truth? No. The moment you announced that you're dating Tatiana, that was the time I decided I will never say it to you." I answered. I heard him sighed and felt his gaze at me.
"I broke up with her." He claimed. Now I stare at him with a curious look. He turned to me and held my left hand. "Date me, Ada." He suddenly put my hand to his cheek, I immediately slapped my hand into his face.
"You think you can date me because you broke up with her? Yes, I did confess my feelings to you but it won't change the possible fact that you broke up with Tatiana because she's not the woman you spent the night with. Did you just fancy me now, because of that? It shouldn't be that way, go back to her Alexios. This meeting is nonsense." I was about to walk out when he said something.
"She cheated on me." I took one last gaze at him one more time and smirked.
"That won't change my decision. Goodbye, Alexios." I replied and went out of the room.
