MARIA ADA'S POV
"Ma'am?" I turned my head to where the voice was coming from. What the hell? Did I just spaced out while attending a meeting? "Yes, what is it again?" I asked. I look at my parents' workers staring at me. "I asked Ma'am, if the expansion of our restaurants in Japan under Bellini Corporation can start this week?"
"Yes, it can, please." After confirming, I dismissed them. I check on my phone, there are still 33 unread messages from Alexios. I sighed and turned it off. I don't want to waste my time with some American guy who thinks it is okay to be with his ex-girlfriend because he still considers her as a friend.
It's almost six o'clock in the evening when I get out of the office. The moment I stepped out of the building, I saw the cause why I had a conflict with my boyfriend. She walked closer to me and smiled innocently. "It looks like you're quite busy, Ada. By the way, I am Tatiana. I guess you already know who I am. Can I have dinner with you?" She introduced herself with such confidence. I smirked. "You said it yourself, I am busy. If you have something to say, you can say it now."
"I am pregnant and it's Alexios' child." She said without hesitation. My eyes swiftly checked her belly, she really is pregnant. I almost lost my composure in front of this woman. "Then?" I asked. She was surprised with my reply, but she still answered. "I expect that you know why Alexios is always with me, right? I hope you know what to do next."
"Do you expect that I will break up with him, because you're pregnant?" I laughed mockingly. "You know what, just go home and get some rest. You're forcing yourself on someone who is no longer interested in you." I said and walked away from her. I stopped again when I heard her saying something.
"Okay, let's see who's forcing to be with someone here."
I took a deep breath and walked again.
