CONSTANTINE ALEXIOS' POV
"Ada. It's Maria Ada not Adaline." He corrected me.
"My bad, okay, Maria Ada it is. She went to the men's restroom yesterday, just to say something to me." I informed him. He looks a bit surprised at the 'restroom' part. "What? Ada went inside the restroom just to speak with you? What a bitch. What did she say to you?" He asked.
"She said, I should love her." I answered honestly, I don't care if I am a bit rude, I'm just stating the fact here. "Then?" I exhaled before answering him. "I said 'why should I? I don't even know you."
"You said that to her?!" Lucas yelled. He covered his mouth when the librarian rang the bell, giving us the signal to shut up. "You know what? Hays, never mind." He sighed and stood up. I pulled his hand which made him sit back. "I'm sorry, I'm just being honest to her. But I have something to ask. Do you know what happened that night?" I asked him. I don't know why I can't remember what happened that night, but my instincts have been opposing what is happening right now. I hope I can obtain some information about that night from him. He's my friend after all."What do you want to talk about?" Lucas paid attention to me after putting his things back in his bag. I think he needs to know what his friend done yesterday. "It's about your friend, Adaline." I hinted. I don't know her name but I think it's Adaline.
"Why do you ask me, Alex? You don't remember anything, you said it yourself. That night you are with your girlfriend, what's there to ask?" He smirked. Is he fooling me? I sighed and covered my face with my hands. Things are starting to get frustrating here. Lucas stood up and grabbed his bag, I can feel his gaze on me. "You picked the wrong girl, that night, it wasn't Tatiana. But it is Ada who is with you the whole night." He said after leaving me in shock. What did he just say? All this time, I thought Tatiana is that woman I've been with during that time. I took my bag and left the library. I have to see her.
MARIA ADA'S POV
This daily practice for the upcoming graduation is slowly making me sick. I don't like that I will take a seat, stand up and vice versa. Can I sit for a whole damn hour? I'm tired. I'm grateful that I didn't experience morning sickness yet. But I can't spend the day without eating lava chocolate cake. I don't like sweets, but this little life inside me has been craving for it. Thankfully, my belly is still flat even it's almost three months. I guess I can have a peaceful graduation, without me looking pregnant.
It's almost five in the afternoon, when we decided to end the practice. I am awfully exhausted, so I better go to a coffee shop before going home. I should buy a lot of lava chocolate cake, but I can't cook right now. When I arrived at the parking lot, I swiftly went inside to the car. "Ugh. I can't drive like this. I need to sleep." I said and checked the car doors if it's locked. I move to the back seat of my Toyota RAV4 and lay down.
CONSTANTINE ALEXIOS' POV
I've been searching where the heck Ada is. Why is it I always see her when I don't care about her, but now I am looking, she's nowhere to be found. Until I arrived at the parking lot, I saw her walking fast towards her car. I followed her, I might have a conversation with her for a bit, but she's walking too fast. Now I am at the back of her car, I wait for the car lights to turn on, but to my curiosity, it didn't. Is she okay? I was about to pry to know what happened to her inside when I realized her car had tinted windows.
"Ada! Are you alright in there?" I said while knocking the car window.
After almost five minutes of shouting outside of her car. I decided to just call Lucas, I dial his phone and a few seconds later I heard a voice from the other line.
"Dude."
"Hey Lucas, can you call Ada for me? I'm currently outside of her car. She's inside and I think something happened to her." I informed him.
"What happened to her?" He asked. "I don't know, I saw her going inside the car, but until now she's still inside of it. I can't see her because the windows are tinted. "
"Okay, I'll call her now. I'm on my way there. You should go home. If she sees you, she will just ignore you." Lucas said before turning down the call. "Ada, it's me Alexios! Please open the door!" I yelled again. Maybe she was so depressed when I rejected her. I sit down on the ground while waiting for Lucas to come here.
"Babe?" I look at the direction where the voice comes from.
"Why are you sitting in there? What happened? Are you all right?" She asked. I stood up from the ground and smiled. "Yes, I'm fine. Why are you still here babe? You texted me, you will go home early." She was avoiding my gaze when I saw the guy Clark told me about. I still smiled timidly to her even though I didn't receive any answer to my question.
"Shall I take you home?" I held her hand while making our exit in the university. I think Ada will be fine, Lucas is on his way here anyway. Lucas is right, I should not approach Ada about what happened that night, two months ago. I better solve the problem with Tatiana first than her.
