"Why did you keep this a secret from us? This is important to know!" Raphael yelled as he shook his head.

"It wasn't my secret to tell," huffed angel-boy in response.

My head spun and I felt like I was going to barf any second. "Please... Stop yelling," I hollered, my voice cracking. Each small movement that Raphael made, sent my body into a spasm of dizziness. I wasn't even aware that I was fading into unconsciousness, until angel-boy shook my arm and woke me up.

"Raphael! He doesn't look good!" Gabriel hollered.

I thought I told you not to yell...

"Crud." Mumbled Raphael before placing his cold hand on my neck. "His pulse. It's slowing. We have to go."

"Go...? Go where?" Gabriel mumbled in confusion.

"The river." Raphael responded simply before I felt myself being lifted. Raphael was flying.

Great... More flying.

"What? A river?" Gabriel questioned, "What about the gate? Aren't we supposed to be heading over there? Why are we heading over to a river?"

"We were, but we need to make a quick detour. Unless you want to let Kaileb die, we have to go there right now. The river is the only place here in Heaven that has less angelic power than anywhere else. Once Kaileb can regain his energy force we can continue on."

Gabriel nodded, "Alright... I understand," he said with a sigh, "You better hang in there, Kaileb. Got that?"

I managed a weak groan in response.

I've been drunk before. No, more than once. It felt like one massive hangover, add in a terrible flu, and then, spin around 100 times. Only then, would you be able to understand how I felt. It was an inexplainable sensation that only got worse the higher we flew. My body shook, and I faded from conscious to unconsciousness. I just wanted to rest, to close my eyes for just a second, but no, each time I tried to rest, Raphael shook me until I groaned and promised him that I wouldn't sleep.

"We're here," Raphael said while landing.

My eyes were closed, but I could hear the faint sound of a river. It was relaxing, calming even.

I was placed down on the ground, the soil beneath me was cold, it felt good on my sweaty skin.

"He's pale... Will he get better here?" Gabriel asked as I saw his shadow hover above me.

"He should. We will have to wait and see," Raphael said with a sigh. "I didn't expect him to react like this to the angelic power... His human side must be stronger than his demon."

"So... He's more human than demon?" Gabriel questioned.

That's what I've been trying to tell you. Idiot.

"Precisely," Raphael answered as I felt a cold hand once again, rest on my neck, then, followed by a sigh of relief. "Good, he's getting his strength back. His heartbeat is no longer weak."

"Good," I heard Gabriel mumble before I felt him sit down beside me. "He'll only be safe here then? He'll continue like this if we go through the Gates of Heaven."

"Yes... That is specifically why, once we pass the gates, we need to hurry to get to your human, ah, angel, friend. Kaileb won't be able to withstand this angel realm for much longer. Kaileb said that he would prefer to stay in the prison while we go, but... I think we need to bring him to the demon world with us."

I narrowed my eyes, clenching them tight. I didn't want to go to the demon world. No... I wouldn't. The demon world was scary. It was terrible. It was a place shrouded in darkness. A terrible, frightening place.

I'm not sure when I fell asleep, but apparently, I was good to do so. Nobody tried to wake me up. Though... I wish they had. Then, I wouldn't have to experience... that dream. That memory.

I ran through the darkness, my clothes tattered, blood streaking my face and hands, and pain, terrible pain, ripped through my injured stomach and flared up my broken arm. I was only 6, but my father.... He didn't care if I was just a child, he just wanted to raise a strong demon as a son. He brought me down to Hell, and trained me to become a killer. I didn't have a choice but to kill. If I didn't, I would either be beaten by Father, or killed by my opponent, another demon. The demon this time, was a large serpent-like creature, with fangs that would probably be seen on a vampire, and sickly purple goo dripping from it's fork-like tongue. It lunged at me, and that was the first time I couldn't stop a demon. I cowered and prepared to be eaten alive.

"Kaileb," Hollered Gabriel as he shook me from my past. "You okay...?"

I sat upright quickly, which was a mistake. My head was still spinning, and I turned my head, and barfed into the water.

Sorry, water.

"I guess... That is a no?" Gabriel said as he crinkled his nose in disgust.

"No, I'm better," I assured before glaring at my hands. No blood on me. I'm good. No broken arm. No hurt stomach. Good. I'm good. However, regardless of how many times I told myself I was good, my body still shook in terror.

"Okay... You really freaked me and Raphael out. You shook really badly in your sleep, and you screamed."

"I screamed?" I questioned with a frown.

"It was a nightmare, wasn't it?" Raphael questioned with a solemn expression.

I bit my lip, and hung my head forward. "Yeah... It was." I nodded.

A nightmare, or, the nightmare of my past. I don't want to go back down there... I don't want to. I don't want to. I don't want to. I don't want to. I don't want to...

I don't want to.

(Because I did a pov on Sophia, I thought, this would be a good time to do one on Kaileb! Here, you can see a little of his traumatized past! I just wanted to hug Kaileb when I wrote this chapter!!! Please tell me if you liked this chapter, and his pov! Thanks!)
