CRYSTAL'S POV

A sharp pain in my head bought me back to reality, the beeping that was going on in this place made it worse. I blink once, twice and then open my eyes. I look around and see I'm in hospital yet again. I scan the room and see a hand holding mine, moving my eyes up the arm I see a head resting on the bed.

I lightly squeeze the hand in order to wake the person up, my throat felt too dry for me to talk. Slowly the head rises up and I meet Christian's eyes that always increase my heartbeat. "Hey." He said softly. I looked down and tried to blink back the tears as I recall the reason why I'm here. "Uhm... I'm gonna go get the doctor." He said and left.

A few minutes later the door opens and Chris walks in with the doctor. "Miss Diamond, I'm happy to see you awake."He said walking towards me." Uhm how long have I been out?" I asked the doctor playing with my hands."It's been a day, and it doesn't look to good." I look up at him as he says that.

"What... What's wrong with me doctor?" My hands shook as I asked him. "Well besides the fact that you have dozens of bruises, broken ribs and 5 stitches on your head... I made another sad discovery."He said looking at me as if asking for my permission to continue. I nodded my head and he took in a sharp breath." Miss Diamond, I am saddened to inform you that you have unfortunately lost the baby." The earth immediately stopped moving after he said that.

I felt like I was running out of oxygen... Tears wanted to fall but I didn't let them. "Wh... What baby are you talking about?" I placed my hands on my stomach as I asked. "You were two weeks pregnant and due to the condition you are in, you lost the baby." Wow... My father had impregnated me and killed his child... Our child... My sibling... What a messed up life I live.

"What condition am I in Doc?" He sighed and looked down. "For starters you are very underweight for your age and you lack nutrients. When was the last time you ate proper food?" I looked down not knowing the answer to that question. "I... I don't remember." I finally let the tears fall. After that I felt a warm hand grab mine and wipe away my tears. I had forgotten Christian was here. The doctor hummed in response.

"Christian I'm gonna need to talk to you outside."He said and began to walk outside." Uhm doc, anything you want to say to Chris you can say infront of me...after all it is me sleeping in this bed right?" I looked at him for quite a while and he finally nodded." Okay if you say so... Uhm I don't believe you Crystal when you say the bruises you have were from falling, some of them are old and there are scars on your body... Is  there anyone hurting you... Physically?" He asked that looking at Christian.

"You think I'm responsible for this?" I heard Christian ask. The disbelief was clear in his voice. "Well are you?"
