"Ashfy stop throwing him in the air like that" Said a concerned looking Farida , who was now looking chubbier than before.
I couldn't get my eyes off a cute and dashing toddler who resembled the Arabs .
"My queen you'll never change" Ashraf said giggling
"You always behave as if he belongs to you alone and I'm just a nanny to him" He added winking
"It's because you don't know how painful labor is" Ashraf and Farida both chorused
"Stop always mimicking me when I complain of labor pains " Farida said rolling her eyes
"What will i do without you my queen? By now all the neighbors must be getting tired of our evening strolls and drama" Ashraf said looking around the neighborhood .
"I'm sure some of them envy us " Farida said winking at Ashraf
"Please hold Adnan " Ashraf instructed Farida trying to bring out his phone from his pocket.
"Assalamu alaikum Ammi " Ashraf said immediately after answering the call
He talked for a while and hanged up .
"How could we forget such an important day? " Ashraf turned to an absentminded Farida who was carried away playing with Adnan (Their Son) .
"Ummi Adnan" He said patting Farida on the shoulder
"Wow so today I'm Ummi Adnan? I've noticed anytime we come out you never call me with your queen or any pet names. Who is your side chick around this neighborhood?" Farida asked trying so hard to frown
"Baby why are you like this? Okay fine. my queen " He said pulling her nose gently
"So what were you about to tell me? " Farida asked him rolling her eyes again
"Wallahi kin hadu ( I swear by Allah you're hot) " Ashraf said flirtatious
"Stop it ,what if someone sees us"? Farida asked turning her face away
"You'll never change my queen, your shyness drives me insane you know" Ashraf said winking
"Teddy stop all these and tell me what Ammi told you over the phone" Farida said laughing hysterical
"So apparently , we are turning into something else. Today is Ammi's birthday and we totally forgot " Ashraf announced
"Noooo wayyyyyyy" Farida gasped opening her beautiful eyes wide open
"How could we have forgotten such an important day? And just last week , Yusrah called me to talk about the dinner party arrangements " Farida said hitting her temple
"Hold Adnan please, i need to call Yusrah right now" Farida said passing the baby to Ashraf
"There's no need to do that, all arrangements have been made and the party is at 8pm tonight " Ashraf announced
"Oh lord no! " Farida announced shutting her eyes very tight
"Let's just go home now and then go to the gift store and get something for Ammi" Ashraf suggested
"Alright Teddy" Farida replied.
6:00pm in the evening
At Dr.Nasir's residence
A 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 drove into Alhaji Nasir's residence and parked in the garage.
Ashraf was the first person to come out from the car in a sky blue polo shirt and a cream colored short nicker , he walked with full charisma and opened the door for Farida , who was dressed in a white colored Abaya grown , which was elegantly decorated with silver stones.
