Ashraf's POV
"Today is exactly 10days to the wedding insha Allah" I murmured staring at the mirror
"Come in " I said after a knock on the door cut off my thoughts
"Ango ango ( the groom the groom)" Ammi teased making me blush
"Masha Allah Habibi, I'm so happy to see you looking this excited , may Allah bless your union" she said smiling
"Amin Ammi " I answered with a grin
"I hope you don't have a tight schedule today? " mum inquired
"Umm..... It's not really a tight one but I'm supposed to meet up with princess by 2:00pm insha Allah and now it's 1:32pm already " I announced looking at my iwatch
"What can I do for you ammi?" I asked
"I want you to go to Aminu kano airport and pick up ISHA's mum alongside with her " mum said looking at my face expecting to see a reaction from me
"I thought the embassy always takes care of picking them from the airport since they are royalties" I said with a frown
"Son she's coming specially for your wedding not for some trip , it's only proper if we show our gratitude by welcoming them with open arms , I mean she will be so happy to see you in person at the airport and not some securities" mum lamented
"Alright mum I will cancel my plans with princess and go" I said trying to calm her down
"Allahumma baarik (may God bless you) " she said with smile
"Their flight will be arriving by 6:30pm " she announced
"Alright ammi I will quickly branch at princess's house and tell her about the journey" I said
"Lover boy can't you tell her over the phone? I don't want you to be late" mum said
"Ammi you know how a journey is ,we never know if we might come back or " I didn't finish my statement when ammi used her right palm to close my mouth
"Habibi haven't I forbidden you from uttering such statements these days ?" she asked almost crying
"Ammi we all must die one day so it's only proper if we keep reminding ourselves each day about it" I explained gently
"Ashraf you are scaring me" she said this time around with tears
"You know what? You won't go to kano anymore , just stay here " she said wiping her tears
"No mum I will go just relax " I said hugging her
"Tell princess that I love her in case I don't come back " I uttered slowly
"Ashraf stop this please, if you really don't want to go to kano you should have said so instead of scaring me like this " she complained bitterly
"Ammi it's not like that , I'm sorry for making you feel that way " I said obediently
"It shall be well with you insha Allah" she said rubbing my hair.........

"Who is the boss ? You or my humble self ?" I asked Aayan the ice cream guy furiously over the phone
"Why do you always have to get on my one thousand nerves?" Don't you understand English ? I said you should come over here with your employees! Ashraf is on his way already" I whispered yelled trying to restrain myself from yelling.
