Ashraf's POV
" Thanks for coming over" I said to Aayan
"You are welcome " He replied with a smile
" I know that you must be astound to why I have asked Ahmad to bring you to my home " I began talking, adjusting my sitting posture on the bed
" I don't know how you will take this , but I want you to please marry Farida" I announced
" Pardon? Why would you ask me to do such a thing?How can i marry your wife? " He asked looking quizzical
" I was diagnosed with a brain tumor " I announced
" innalillahi wa'inna ilaihir raji'un " Aayan uttered looking extremely disturbed
" So I don't think I have much time to live " I declared
" Subhanallah! Don't say that, life and death is in Allah's hands and nobody's " He said
" In the presence of Ahmad , I want you to promise me something " I demanded
" Sure, what do you want ?" He asked
" That you'll marry Farida " I announced
" I will divorce her if you give your consent to the marriage and she doesn't have to observe her iddah (period of waiting) before you guys get married since we haven't had any physical relationship"I declared
" I'm sorry ,but I will not be able to do what you are asking of me" He declared too
" Aayan, i don't have to ask if you are in love with Farida, Because Farida is the type of lady that every man will wish to have as a wife , And I'm sure she likes you too and she will learn to love you after I'm gone " I stated
"You are the only man I have seen Farida gets excited talking to , after me of course " I added
" Why would you say such a thing? Look no lady would want to marry a paraplegic man . I can't walk"He said calmly
" But your heart works" I replied
" Ahmad are you just going to stand there and watch him keep talking like this?" Aayan asked Ahmad who had tears in his eyes .
" Farida will be shattered if she hears this. I'm sorry but I can't be apart of this " He declared.

Farida's POV
" You don't look fine to me " I said looking at Ashraf over the video call
"Stop changing the topic and answer me" He said
" Why are you asking me such questions? " I asked
" Answer me , if you had met Aayan before me would you have married him despite he doesn't walk" He asked again
" Look Teddy , we are married now . So why do you still see Aayan as a threat?"I asked
" Well I would have married him in whatever condition, Because I believe God can test me in any way he wants. I can marry someone who walks , but later on he can become paraplegic . So if that happens am I just going to walk out on him?
Physical appearance doesn't matter to me one bit in a person , As long as his heart is pure and Aayan's heart is hundred percent pure. I mean we are talking about someone who has never decided to be bitter because of his condition . I have seen many frustrated people with disabilities , But Aayan is different, Aayan is always cheerful. Aayan has never complained about his condition " I declared
