"Mum !mum !mum ! " I called out to mum while barging into her bedroom where I met her together with Dad.
"Where did you forget your manners ?" Dad asked with a frown
"I'm sorry Dad , but but I was so nervous when I entered the room . Ash...... Ashraf had an accident Dad " I announced
"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihir raji'un" mum and dad said in unison
"A Ina ?( where)?" They asked in unison again
"Kano" i announced
"He came in the afternoon to tell princess about his journey to kano , so she was so worried that he hasn't called her to inform her he has arrived safely as he had promised earlier ,so when she was in the bathroom , Ashraf called and I picked up only to hear an unknown man telling me about his accident that he has been rushed to Aminu kano hospital where the doctors have refused to touch him unless a 100k deposit is made but I told the man who Ashraf is " I declared
"This is clear rubbish ! How can they refuse to operate on him ! What happened to him haka?" Dad asked bringing out his phone from the pocket
"I don't know Dad, but the man mentioned something like glasses pierced into his chest and his condition isn't quiet good " I declared
"Does princess know about the accident?" Mum asked
"No mum , I didn't have the courage to tell her , I managed to lie to her that her phone isn't working anymore beacause the man will keep calling through her number as he saw her name saved as Ashraf's wife " I explained
"Let me give his Dad a call now and we will arrange on how he can be transfered back here " Dad assured leaving the room .............
"Ya Allah take care of Ashraf" Mum said looking extremely worried
"Amin thumma amin " I answered
"Salaam" princess said entering the room making mum to look at me nervously
"Can I have your phone please?" Princess asked me
"Yes " I answered almost handing the phone over to her
"No ! No! You can't have the phone ......well....well I...I mean I have no airtime" I stammered
"What are you hiding from me ?" Princess asked
"Nothing nothing right mum? There's nothing" I announced
*princess phone rings *
Farida's POV
"I thought you said the phone isn't working?" I asked throwing curious looks at Yusrah,
"And it's Ashfy " I said after hearing the ringtone I have specifically selected for him , collecting the phone from Yusrah.
"Hello Teddy" I said waiting to hear his voice
"Hello ma'am his condition is getting critical and the doctors have not been able to get a blood donor " A strange voice uttered
"Where's Ashraf please? Hand the phone over to him " I said with a racing heart.
"He is in the hospital ma'am . Aren't that you the one that I called a few minutes ago and you informed me he is the CBN governor's son?" The man asked , making me hear his statement three times in my ears before the whole room turned dark to me ...........
