Fareedah's POV
Friday night 9:00pm
I just couldn't sleep, I kept turning like an empty barrel on my soft bed .
My heart and brain was running a debate on whether to call Bilal or not . At the same moment, I was feeling nostalgic remembering my parents, so I decided to call them hoping their voices will make me feel better............
"Assalamu alaikum(peace be upon you) my princess " mum said after picking up my call
"Wa'alaikumus salam(amin, peace be upon you too) " I answered
"Ina yini mama(good day mum) " I greeted
"Lafiya lau(I'm fine) how are you doing? Are you enjoying your stay over there? Are you well taken care of? " she asked sounding uneasy
"Hajia allow her to answer one question at a time mana" i heared Dad interrupting her
"Am I on speaker? " I asked excitedly
"Yes you are my love" Dad answered
"I'm fine mummy, I'm really enjoying my stay at Abuja " I finally answered mum
"When are you starting classes? " Dad asked
"Next week Monday God's will" I answered
"That's good! Please do take care of yourself and stay away from bad company " Mum cautioned.
"I will mummy insha Allah (God's wil) I answered
"You sound a bit sad or are my ears playing mind games with me? " Dad asked
"I'm fine Dad, I'm just missing you all" I replied smiling
"We miss you more princess " Dad said softly
"Ohh yes! I remember, hope you know Yusuf will be coming to Abuja tomorrow in Allah ya kaimu(if God spares our lives) " Dad announced out of the blue!
"Yes I am fully aware" I replied
"So you won't be missing us that much" He said
"Baba kenan(my dearest Dad) Yusuf will be living in the villa while I will be living elsewhere, he will hardly have enough time to see me" I said giggling
"Yes I know , well atleast you will be seeing him from time to time " He declared
"Yes Dad" I replied
"You should go to bed sweetheart " said Mum
"Alright then, good night " I said while hanging up
I felt a bit happy after hearing my folks voices ,but I still felt incomplete.............
"Bilal my handsome " I whispered slowly as tears rolled from my eyes down to my silky pillow
I still have feelings for him, i won't lie .but there is nothing I can do to get him back.
I suddenly jumped up from the bed like a scary cat and headed to the Jacuzzi room
"Seeing this alone makes me feel better" I said staring at my Jacuzzi tub
I removed my clothes and got into the hot water .............
It felt so good as I was slowly closing my eyes and thinking about how my life has changed in just a few days.
I finished taking a bath and came out of the Jacuzzi room with a pink towel wrapped around my body
"Ohh lord I'm losing weight " I said staring at my tiny waist
