I was relaxing in the backyard one sunny afternoon.
I sighed "ohhh my God it's winter and yet the sun is so hot and bright today "I said while staring at the pool thinking of getting into it to cool myself down.
Hello Princess ! " a voice interrupted ,I turned around and saw "Lucy"(our house maid)
"Hi Lucy, How can I help you ?" I asked with a big smile on my face
"Someone is waiting for you at the sitting room " she replied
"Who could that be? " I soulfully thought to myself
"Alright I will be there in a minute " I said stretching my hands , while putting on my sandals............
*At the sitting room *
"Anty yeesha! "(My elder sister)
I shouted making my way to the sofa Anty yeesha was seated on.
"Oyoyo" I said while literally jumping on her body!
"Haba princess what's this? Do you want to break all my joints and bones ?You are going to be 16years in the next 10days ,but you are still acting like a kid! " she concluded
I slowly loosen the grip of my hands around her , while slightly pouting like a brat
"Ahhh! Anty yeesha What's the harm in me hugging you? " I asked
" It's not about the hug, it's about you always jumping on people " She replied
"And now someone is sounding like all those typical Arewa Aunties " i said rolling my eyes
"You seriously need deliverance " She said laughing hysterical
"Peace be upon you" Her Husband announced while coming into the sitting room ..........
"Yaya Uthman! I had no idea you guys came together " i announced excitedly
"Surprise !" He announced looking elated
I got carried away chatting with Yaya uthman, it's always like that when we meet because I always feel he understands me better............
"Where's Mummy?" Anty yeesha asked , interrupting us
"Anty yeesha I don't know why you always act like a guest in this house. Anyways ,let me go and check up on her because i think she's sleeping " i announced
I quickly hurried to go upstairs and inform mummy about Anty yeesha's arrival, soon I came out together with mummy.......
They all exchanged pleasantries.........
"Anty yeesha! " SUMMY (my younger sister) interrupted,
"Ina yini(Good afternoon) Anty yeesha and yaya uthman" she greeted
"Lafiya lau(we are fine) " They chorused
"Haba Gimbiya why didn't you tell me Anty yeesha is coming today " SUMMY complained
