"What are you doing awake by this time ?" Aayan sent me a message via WhatsApp
"I woke up feeling thirsty, so I got water and decided to check my messages before praying" I typed back
*incoming call from Aayan*
"Mean aunt " He said sounding much more calmer than usual after I picked
"What's wrong Aaya?" I asked feeling worried
"Nothing princess Farida" He answered sounding down
"I'm mad at you " I announced
"Why ? What did I do ?" He asked
"You are keeping secrets from me and you earlier promised we would be besties for life " I said
"The issue is complicated Bestie" He explained
"Tell me please I want to help out , I have told you already your happiness matters a lot to me Aayan " I said sounding serious
"Is everything okay ?" Yusrah asked with a sleepy voice
"Everything is okay dear , sorry baby i didn't mean to wake you up " I apologized
"It's okay dear " she replied sitting up
"Sorry for the interruption, I was talking to yus yus " I explained to Aayan
"It's okay besty" Aayan replied
Aayan's POV
I feel so confused at the moment, I still love fatima (my ex) but I have started developing a new admiration for princess Farida. She is so full of life , social , intelligent and religious . Her love for humanity can never be over emphasized !
"My ex wants to get back with me " I announced to Farida
"Really ? So you had a girlfriend before? Why did you guys break up ?" She asked sounding concerned
"Well she felt that she can't marry a crippled person . she was my first love , we have been together since JSS3 you know . After the Accident , she broke up with me stating she can't live with me like this . She has dreams of traveling the world with her husband , running along the beach , stuffs women like " I announced with a heavy heart remembering my old wound ............
Farida's POV
"Aayan !" I called out his name bursting into tears which made Yusrah scared , I could feel his pain through his voice
"What's wrong princess?" She asked looking confused
"Aayan" I said using my palms to close my mouth while I kept shaking my head
"Why did she do that ? Who in the world would think of treating a nice and gentle soul like you the way she did ? " I asked wiping my tears
"Well not everyone is as compasionate as you princess farida , you are too innocent and soft " Aayan said
"Are you okay besty ?" I asked still feeling bad for him .
"I don't know honestly. so as I was saying, she wants us to get back together, she messaged me 30 minutes after you left my house " Aayan announced
"So what's going to happen now ?" I asked
"I don't know honestly princess Farida, I feel really confused. I can't deny the fact that I still have feelings for her ,but then what she did to me is still hurting me deep inside. I recently started admiring someone but she already has a fiancee so at the end I know I stand no chance with her " Aayan announced
