Chapter 3

I walk through the shop behind my mother and watch her looking through some girl's clothes. I already gave up with asking her to get me clothes from the men's section. She says they don't fit me 'cause I'm a girl, though I had boy's clothes a few times and they fit me absolutely well. I'm not even allowed to get boxers and have to wear these stupid slips. ,,Look at that, D/N! It would fit you so well!", my mother suddenly says and I look at the shirt she has in her hands. I can already see it's really tight and would stretch on points which I always trying to hide. ,,To tight.", I say quitely and mom roles her eyes. ,,You're telling me that for  years now! It's time for you to get out of that phase and be proud of what you have! Othe girls would kill to get your body!" Shut the fuck up, I'm not even a girl! With a sight I look into the men's section and sight. I wish, I was born a boy and could go shopping there. I look around a little when I suddenly see a similiar face. It's Levi, who's looking through some shirts. ,,Mom, there's a friend of mine. Can I go over to him?", I ask and my mother noods annoyed. I smile and run towards the raven. ,,Hi!", I say and he looks at me surprised. ,,Hey, D/N.", he says and turnes fully around. Akward situation. ,,What are you doing here?", Levi asks after a while and I'm glad he did it. ,,Shopping with my mom.", I answer and my voice goes down, without that I'm even able to control it. ,,Why do you sound like you don't want to?" Shit. ,,Reasons. You wouldn't get it." ,,Ah yes, I'm a guy, I don't know anything about fashion." What the hell? I never expected him to say something like that. Well, I don't know him that long, but he didn't seem to me like he'd ever say that. ,,No, it's not like that. It's just complicated.", I say and bite my teeth together. ,,I'm just kidding. I'm often being sarcastic, better get used to it." I nood slowly. ,,Actually I'm too. I'm just checking, if people are cool with it, before I show it.", I say and smile nervously. ,,Just so you know: I'm fine with it so you can defintly let it out." I nood. ,,Cool, then..." ,,Leviiiiiiii!", a female voice suddenly shouts and I look around confused, while Levi just roles his eyes annoyed. There a brunette girl with a ponytail and a weard sportsglasses runs towards us and nearly jumps on Levi. ,,Where you've been? I've been looking for you!", she says a little too entiusiastic and the raven tries to push her away from him. ,,I told you I'm gonna look for some clothes. Not my problem, if you stuck at weard shops.", he answers and the brunette girl now notices me. ,,Oh, who's that?", she asks and I blush slightly. ,,That's D/N. She's a friend from my new school." Friend? Okay, good to know. ,,Cool! I'm Hanji!", the girl now says to me and reaches me her hand. Hesistant I take it, while Levi just looks completely annoyed. ,,She's so adorable! You should make her your girlfriend!" What? ,,Are you crazy? I just know her since yesterday!", Levi replies and I look at the two. In what kind of relationship are they? Friends? Siblings? I don't fucking know. ,,Levi, you could ask her, if she wants to come to the party with us tonight!", Hanji suddenly says to Levi. ,,She probably has no interest in hanging out with your annoying ass.", I replies and leans against the wall. Now she looks at me again. ,,Would you like to come with us tonight?", she asks and I think for a second. I'd really like to, but I don't know, if my mother would let me. But since it's friday, I could convince her to let me go. ,,I have to ask my mother, but I'd like to come with you.", I answer after a while and Hanji's smile becomes wider. ,,Great! Can you give me your phone number then, so we can talk everything out?" ,,I already have it.", Levi says, bevore I'm even able to say anything.  ,,Okay, cool! Then you can text him, when you know more!" I nood, still a little overhelmed. ,,D/N, come here, we're going!", I suddenly hear my mother shouting and I role my eyes. ,,Sorry, I've gotta go now. See ya.", I say quite annoyed and sight. ,,Yeah, bye." ,,Bye! And see you maybe tonight!" I smile slightly, before I turn around and run back to my mom. ,,Who were these kids?", she asks and I bite my teeth together. Kids? Acording to that Levi's with me in one class, he must be my age and I'm seventeen, so defintly not kids. ,,A friend from school and one of his friends.", I answer and shrugg my shoulders. ,,Anyway, look at this dress I found!" My eyes widen. ,,A dress? Serious?" ,,Stop complaining all the time and come! We're paying and then we're going home."

I sit on my bed and scroll through my phone. I should ask her now, or it's getting too late. Slowly I walk into the kitchen, where my mother sits on the table. ,,Mom, I wanted to ask you something.", I say and lean against the doorframe. ,,Sure, what is it?" I take a deep breath. ,,Can I go to a party with some friends tonight?" Okay, her look says everything. ,,Of course you can't! What, if something happens to you?" I role my eyes. ,,Mom, I'm seventeen! I think ,I can take care of myself very well! I'm almost an adult!" She sights. ,,Do whatever you want, but if soething happens to you, it's your own fault." Oh, okay. Didn't expect that, but cool. ,,Okay, thanks." With these words I turn around again and run back into my room. I throw mysel on my bed again and grab my phone. 

Me: Hey, Levi. Just wanted to say, I can come.

Levi: Okay, I'll tell Hanji then. Sorry btw, that they overrun you like that. I know, they can be a little overhelming.

Me: They?

Levi: Oh, Hanji's nonebinary (A/N: That's one of my favourite headcannons, so let me!!)

Good to know. Well, maybe that means, that he's supportive with these kind of things, so maybe I can come out to him sonner or later, I'll see. 

Me: Okay, good you told me. 

Levi: Anyway, we'll pick you up at eight then.

Me: Okay, see you then!

Levi: Yeah, bye.

So I still have three hours left. Enough time to get ready. With a sight I stand up from my bed and walk towards my closet, before I open it. I grab a black shirt, some baggy pants and maaaany chains. You could say I'm collecting chains and always wear as many as possible. I change quickly and start adding the chains to my pants. After I think I'm done, I put on some black eyeliner, hide my hair under a beany and look at myself in the mirror. I look at the clock. It's time now. Good. I grab the rest of my stuff and run to the door. ,,I'm going now!", I shout, before I leave the apartment.
