"Mommy, mommy! Where are you?" I asked after dad and I entered the house. You know where we've been? At a huge chocolate & candy shop! I excitedly carried the red paper bag that I took from dad and I carried it going to my room upstairs because I know my mommy's there.
I am so excited to give mommy what daddy bought. Because if he won't do this, maybe mommy will be angry again cuz we've gone in a chocolate shop that mom doesn't want to.
"Mommy!!" I shouted and hugged my mom when I finally entered the room. She's fixing my clothes already because they said we will be leaving tomorrow and I'm gonna miss Singapore, most especially my Papi.
"Oh, baby. Where have you been? Magkasama nanaman kayo ng daddy mo, right?"
"We've gone to the chocolate shop an-ops mommy don't talk first! I'm not yet finish. Dad wants to give you this." I said and took out a rose from the bag, and gave it to her.
"Wow, thank you. You're dad's doing this to help me from scolding the both of you right?" She said, smirking. I smiled awkwardly and shrugged. She smelled the rose but seemed uninterested on it. "Wait, it.. It smells like...."
"Chocolate!! Mommy that's chocolate. Amazing right? Everything was on the shop! Even huge bear-shaped chocolates. Look what we bought! A ribbon-shaped chocolate, mom!" I said and scattered the chocolates on the bed.
"Oh my god, that's a lot. You won't eat it all, wouldn't you?"
"Mommy! Of course I can eat this all," I saw her raised an eyebrow on me then, "O-Of course I was just joking. Dad said we'll bring home for my little sister." She smiled about that. Yes I'm telling the truth. We'll give the half of it and the rest? Dad and I will eat it until midnight at the theater room and watch Cinderella: Twist in Time. Yehei! I'm so excited.
"Very good, but you shouldn't give Ali all of that."
"Why?" I asked and sat beside her.
"Because when she eats chocolates or something sweet, she can't resist but to eat it and forget to eat lunch nor dinner. That's why I get angry when I found out that you first eat sweets before the right foods to eat. Because not all the time, chocolates full your stomach. It isn't healthy when you always eat those." She said browsing for the chocolates we bought.
"Okay mommy, I promise, this'll be the last time that I'll eat lots of chocolates," I raised my right hand and smiled at her.
"Promise?"
"Umm... Maybe sometimes only?"
"Hay.. Hahaha! You're so funny, baby. By the way, Papi will be having a half day lang on his clinic. He wants to have time with you pa e, it's already your last day." She reminded. I sighed, I'm going to leave Papi starting tomorrow. But I know I will be in good hands.
"I'm gonna miss him."
"You don't have to, you can call him naman everyday. Just ask me to borrow phone or just tell us if you want to have your own-"
"No mommy! No, I don't need phones. Having you is enough," I saw mom 'aww-ed' and started hugging me tightly.
"Love you, baby. I'm sorry again for leaving you. I just don't know if I could give you a good life before, I'm sorry. Babawi si mommy. Mommy and daddy will give you the best." She said while kissing me on my hair.
"Mommy I told you, you were forgiven. I love you very very much pow." I smiled, and held both of her cheeks and kissed her lips. "I LOVE YOU MOMMY MOMMY!!" I shouted before she started tickling me.
