Ch. 17

Aidan POV

I was sitting in my office holding an old pocket watch. A watch given to me by the only woman I will probably ever love. The other side of the watch had a picture of her, and whenever I had the chance I pulled the watch out and just stared at her perfect face. With her long chestnut hair, soft brown eyes.... 'God I miss you' I think to myself. However I will never see her again all thanks to those dam kids mother!

I can't wait for the day when I will finally have the satisfaction of seeing those two annoying brats dead. I need to hurry up and get a plan going before the full moon in three weeks, but there have been to many God dam distractions...

"Aidan!!!" Speaking of distractions, my most annoying one just walks into my office.

"What now Katherine?" I ask with a sigh and stuff the watch back into my pocket.

"When are you going to kill those annoying Summer twins!" She squeaks.

"When are you going to do what we planed! You were supposed to make Annika hate Luka, so I could get him while he's heartbroken! And what have you accomplished!? NOTHING!! So don't try to put this on me. The next full moon is in three weeks, and I want those brats heads on a stick before then." I say low and threatening as I walk up to her slowly. I can feel my face change because of how pissed I am.

"It's not that easy!" She yells back at me.

"I don't see what's so hard!!" I yell right back, and my temper is just getting shorter with this pathetic human girl.

"I have hardly seen him! Wolfe and Repunzle avoid me like the plague!" She whines.

"I don't care. Make him pay attention to you. You are becoming less useful and more of a nuisance to this plan! If you don't get this done soon I'm not going to waste anymore time on you." I dangerously say getting very close to her face, with my teeth coming out and my eyes changing color. Katherine is scared, I can tell, but she doesn't back down.

"What will you do?" She hesitantly asks.

"I don't know. Maybe I'll let Jeff take you out for a dinner date." I tell her and that caught her attention.

"You... you wouldn't kill me... would you?" She asks.

"Well my dear Kitty Kat.. lets hope it doesn't end like that for you. Now go and get this done!" I say the last part sternly almost like a teacher lecturing a student. Katherine, thankfully, takes the order and scurries out of my office .

"Dam that chicks annoying. Remind me again why you ever bothered bringing her into the plan?" Jeff says walking into my office.

"So I guess you heard that all." I state sitting back in my chair and start rubbing my temples.

"Yep. How can you not hear her. You don't even need to be a vampire." He laughs.

"Ugh. Don't remind me. I thought she could help lead Luka to me, but all that little girl has done is delay everything." I sigh.

"Ya. Katherine sure isn't Sut...." Jeff starts but I give him a look that says 'don't even bring her up' "sorry" he mumbles and I feel kind of bad, him and Sutton were really good friends.

"No you don't need to be sorry. I need to not be upset every time someone brings her up." I say.

"Don't worry about it. We both miss her. That's why we're doing this, revenge." He says with a smirk.

"O this is more than just revenge my old friend. It's about bring justice to my Sutton". I tell him.

"Ya I'm with you man. Well I've got to get going, got myself a hot date tonight." He says with a smirk.

"You? A date? I hope your definition of a date is after dinner you drink and erase the girls memory of you". I tell him. Jeff never goes on dates, his "dates" always end up bloody and sometimes I'm the one who has to clean up the mess....

"Nope. I'm serious." He states.

I give him the strangest look. "What's her name?" I ask him.

"I'm not saying. It's a secret. Got to go." And with that he leaves my office.

'Well ok then.' I think to myself. The rest of the night I'm just left by myself and my brain drowning in thoughts.
