Ch. 13 Monday Madness pt. 2

I make it to the gym pretty fast and see that not that many girls are here yet, but I do see who I am looking for.

"Scarlett!" I yell for her. She stops streching and comes up to me.

"Hey, whats up? Are you doing ok?" She quickly asks.

"Ya I am fine, but I want to know what happened with you, Luka, and Mason Friday. I tried asking Luke, and all I got were short answers." I explain to her and she gives me a knowing look.

"Ya Luke isn't very good at hidding things, and he just doesn't want to tell you anything because he doesn't want to scare you or involved with any of this." She tells me.

"Well i don't care if he doesn't want me involved because I want to help. I don't want to see you or Luke get hurt." I stubornly tell her and she smiles at me.

"I knew I liked you for a reason, your not some girl who act likes a weak barbie doll. I will tell you everything we talked about, but I am just telling you right now Luka will not easily let you help, he is very stuborn and tempermental, and will do anything for the people he cares for." She tells me all in one breath in a low voice so no one will hear us.

"Thank you. I just hate being left alone in the dark." I tell her.

"Left alone in the dark for what?" a voice says out of nowhere.

"Shit. Jess. Give a girl a heart attack why don't you." I say turning to my curious friend.

"Hahaah sorry, but what were guys talking all secrety about?" She asks me and I have no clue what to tell her. I hate lying to my friends, so I am at a loss for words.

"O well becuase Luka's birthday is next week, Annika wanted to know if there was anything he would really want for his birthday." Scarlett tells Jessica and thank God 'I love you Scarlett' I think to myself.

"Cool, and by the way Sadie is sick so she won't be here today." She says and starts to talk about some new band that just came out or something. I was just happy she believed the little story Scar told her.

"Ok. So obviously we shouldn't talk about this here so after practice we'll talk." She says and I just nod.

"K and thank you so much for thinking of something to tell Jess..." I couldn't finish thanking Scarlett because the most annoying voice started ringing in my ears.

"Well well well, Good morning dear captin." Katherine's whiney voice says.

"What do you want Katherine?" I ask not very politly but I couldn't care less.

"You and your lover boy embarassed me at the dance and I really didn't appreciate a little girl upstaging me." She tells me trying to sound all threating, but I just look at her with a bord expression.

"That sounds more like a personal problem Katherine, so why don't you just get over yourself." I calmly tell her and I can tell that pissed her off, but that look is fast gone and replaced with her stupid smirk.

"I don't get what he see's in you, I mean you look like a child." She says and then gets a little closer to my face. "I'm pretty sure Luka would have more fun with someone who has more experience than some innocent little girl." She finished and I was about to snap at her when Scarlett interups me.

"Actually, Kat, my brother doesn't go for sluty bitches, so that automatically takes you off his 'Girls I'm Interested In' list, even though there's only one name on that list right now." She tells her and quickly sends me a smile.

"You better watch what you say to me bitch." Katherine said walking close to Scarlett, but I wasn't worried.

"Haha what are you going to do to me, I could kick your ass with both my eyes closed." Scar says laughing in her face, and I knew she was right. Katherine would go cry in a cornner if she broke a nail. Once I focus back on the situation I speak up.
