Ch. 7 Would you be my date

Anika POV

It has been two weeks scince the last full moon. Two weeks scince Luka actually let me in, and let me tell you these two weeks have been the best weeks of my life. Me and Luka just can't get enough of eachother. Nobody at school knows about us. I have only told Laural, Sadie and Jessica what happened that night. Minus the whole werewolf thing, they would probably drass my ass to the nearest inseane asylum. We both decided that we would wait before we show people we are together. Well actually I don't even know if we are together, but could care less because just being around Luka makes me happy. 

At school it's hard for us to act like we are just friends. Every chance we get we steal kisses from eachother or just hold eachothers hand. Every day when school is over Luka has come over to my house, but instead of useing the door like a normal person he chooses to climb the giant tree outside my room and come through the window. It's like hes become my own Romeo. We just talk for hours until it get really late then he kisses me goodnite, hops out the window and heads home.

Tonight after he left there was a knock on my door. "Come in." Laural walks in with a playful smirk on her face."Hey is your boyfriend gone yet?" "Yes he's gone, and hes not my boyfriend." I say because I really don't know if he is or not. "Ya ok sure. I see you guys at school and let me tell you, people can cut the sexual tension with a knife. Have you slept with him yet? Just curios." She laughs walking over to my bed. "O MY GOD Laural!!" Embarassed that my little sister just asked me that I roll on my stomach with my face buried in the pillow. Laural starts busting up. "What?" "No I haven't slept with him. I haven't slept with anybody before and you know that." I remind her  sitting back up. "I know, I know, I'm just messing with you, but seriously can you guys just go public already." She says shoving my shoulder. "I don't know Laural..." "I KNOW!! The first dance is next week. You guys should show up togther,and then you can be all lovey dovey." I think about what she said for a while and respond. "I'll think about it and talk to Luka. Now get out of my room you dork." "Hahaahah ok have nice dreams about your BOYFRIEND!" She says stepping out of my room and closeing the door behind her.

The next day I wake up and get ready for school. I get to school early and the one person I wanted to see is already waiting for me. When I reach him he pulls me into a tight hug . I really like being in his arms when he hugs me like this. We pull apart and I look up at his face. I really want to ask him about going to the dance, but I decide to wait till after school.

The school day goes by pretty fast now I am home waiting in my room for Luka to come through the window as always. While waiting I go to the bathroom to wash off the makeup I was wearing and change into yoga pants and a tank top. I walk out and then something pokes my sides "BOO!" "AHH!!!" I bolt it to the other side of my room and turn around to see a dying of laughter Luka still near the bathroom. "DON'T DO THAT! Unless you want to give me a heart attack." I say walking over to him hitting his shoulder. "I'm sorry I thoghut it would be funny." He says calming down.

A couple of hours pass and we are just laying on my bed in a comfortable scilence scince its Friday and we have no homework. That is when I decide to finally ask about the dance. "Hey Luka?" "Ya?" He softly says while playing with my hair. "You know about the dance next week right?" "Ya what about it?" "Well I was just thinking that maybe me and you could go. You know together." I say sitting up. He sits up to with a long sigh."I don't know about that Anika." "Why not?" "I've never liked getting all dressed up and going to those things." "Is that the real reason?" "What are you talking about?" He has a confused look on his face but for some reason I just get up and start pacing my room. "I mean this is the perfect oppertunity to show people that we are together. Do ou not want people to know that we are together, or are we even together because I honestly have no fucken clue." I say super fast and I can see that is getting mad by the look on his face. "Thats not it Ani-" He tries to explain calmly but I just cut him off. "Do you even want us to be together or am I just a play thing for you." "NO!! of course not. I would never think of you as that." He is now off the bed and in front of me. "Then why is it such a big for us to go to a dance?!" I say frustrated. He doesn't respond, he just stands there. 

"It's late Luka, you should probaly go." I say walking over to my bed. "But Anik-" "Just go Luke. Please I'm tiered." "Ok. I'll talk to you later." I hear the sadness in his vioce. That is all he says and then I hear him jump out my window and I don't even bother to get up and close it.
