Ch. 3 SIBLINGS!!!

ANNIKA POV

After the "great" conversation I had with Luka in the hall the rest of my first day sucked. In all my classes all I thought about was him even though he was a total dick. I saw him a couple times walking through the halls and one time this girl just jumpped on him like a dog attacking a bone.

The girl was pretty she had long brown hair, long legs, taned skin, and brown eyes i think, i was to far away to be sure. In that moment I wanted to rip that girl to shreds but I contained myself.

When the finall bell rung I was glad I could go back to cheer practice. I missed spending time with my team, well except the three bitches, but I wont let them bother me today. We are having try outs today. I met up with Sadie at the gym we were there before everyone else so we patently waited for everyone else.

The first person to show up was no other than Jessica the missing person from our trio.

"JESS!!!" Both sadie and I scream.

"Hey you guys. I am soooo sorry I wasn't here all day, but there was no way in hell I would miss tryouts today." she says out of breath with her brown hair covering half her face.

"Its ok we still love you. but why are you breathing like you just ran a marothon?" I ask with a slight laugh.

"Because my stupid car broke down and I didn't want to be late so I ran the rest of the way here."she explains finally calming down.

"Hahaha well that explains why you look like a mess" Sadie laughs knowing how Jessica reacts to comments like that.

"WHAT!! WHERES A MIRROR?!?!" she franticly says while searching for a mirror.

Jessica was a very sweat person and it was hard to get on her bad side but when you do watch out because she will kick your ass. She is also a bit of a drama queen about everything ecpesicaly her cloths and makeup. She will go crazy if she doesn't look perfect. Thats why I just laugh and go stand next to her.

"Jess, you look fine as always, Sades is just being a bitch" I say laughing. Jessica knows I wouldn't lie to her so she relaxes and then flips off Sadie. All of us start to laugh.

Tryouts don't start for another hour but I wanted the girls here to explain how the tryouts will work. So while waiting I caught Jess up on what happened with Luka and how god like he looked.

"He just looked so sweet, but I guess I was wrong. I mean who does he think he is acting like he knows me." I scoff

"Well he did guess everthing right." Jessica states

"Not the point Jess, the point is he shouldn't jump to conclusions"

"Shes right" Sadie states.

"O well at least hes hot" Jessica says. We all bust up laughing, but are inturupted the the gym door opening.

"Umm. hi I'm Scarlett Summers. This is where the cheer tryouts are right?" She shyly askes. I couldn't believe my eyes. Its the same girl that jumpped Luka and dam she was even prettier up close. All I wanted to do was rip her long hair out of her head and then I thougt back to what she said. 'Summers as in Luka Summers' she was waiting for an answer so I replied.

"Yes this is the place, it just seems everyone is late. Umm you wouldn't happen to be related to Luka Summers would you?" I ask a part of me hoping the answer is yes.

"Haahah yes I'm his twin sister" she explains. relief washed over my face and I guess Scarlet noticed.

"Don't worry I'm not going to date my brother." she laughs. I look down and blush. Sadie and Jessica go over and introduce themselvs. Just then everyone enters the gym. I am happy to see all these girls wanting to try out but I am not to happy with my girls for being late.

Taking a head count I notice that only two of the people I hate are here and queen bitch is missing. "Sofie, Bexs wheres Katherine." I ask a little irritated.

"I don't know she hasn't been here all day" Bexs rudly replies.

"Whatever, OK girls lets begin."

Me and the team show the girls the practice rutine and then let them run it. Only three were good, two I didn't know their names and the third one was Scarlett. I figured I could ask her about her brother after tryouts. Once they were done the girls and I all decide on the two girls and Scarlett.

Sadie and Jessica have to be somewhere so they say goodbye to me and everyone else leaves except Scarlett who is still packing her bag. I go over to talk to her.

"Hey Scarlett you did really great welcome to the team." I genually say.

"Thanks Annika. It will be nice being on the team and being new so I can meet new people."

"Ya that will be good... also I just have to ask one question"

"Shoot" So I just ask whats on my mind.

"Is your brother always a duchebag to new people". She starts laughing then answers

"No thats just his stupid act, Luka is actually a big puppy dog once you know the reall him"

"OK I was just wondering because I tried talking to him but he just pissed me off" I explain.

"Ya thats just my dork of a brother, don't let him scare you away you just have to fight for him" I laugh

"Ok I'll see you later Scarlett".

"See ya" and then she leaves the gym.

Scarletts POV

After leaving the gym I go looking for my idiot brother.

I find him underneath a tree reading a book. I walk over and grab the book out of his hands. He doesn't even need to look up to know its me he already smelled me ten feet away.

"Well hello to you to my dear sister, how were the tryouts" He asks trying to change the subject because he can tell I am mad at him.

"Good, I made the team. Now stop being a dick to Annika" Once I say that his face drops.

"Why its not like we could ever start seeing eachother because we will just end up being run out of this place just like the last one and the last one and th-" I cut him off

"UGHH.. why do you do this Luke, you always act like we are going to have to run" My temper is off the charts. I can't believe m brother all he does is think of the negitive stuff.

"BECAUSE IT HAPPENS EVERYTIME SCAR!!" He yells and grabs my arms roughly but it doesn't hurt. "EVERYTIME WE GET SETTLED SOMEWHERE HE FINDS US AND WE HAVE TO LEAVE. So I am done trying to connect with people only to lose them later." I can see his eyes slightly changing from brown to gold thats when I pin him to the ground.

"AND YOU DON'T THINK I'M TIERED OF IT. I HATE THAT WE ALWAYS HAVE TO LEAVE. DO YOU THINK I LIKED LEAVING DARREN. NO!!! but I actually like this place. So im going to try, I'm always going to try. and Annika, she likes you, so go appoligize for being an ass tomarrow and at least try being her friend." When I am done I see he has calmed down so I let him go.

"I'm sorry sis I know it was hard for you to leave the last town, but we had to" he says brushing off the dirt that was on him.

"Its ok. but seriouly talk to her cuz she thinks your a dick." He laughs and I turn around to leave then turn back around. " and next time don't think you can take me on. You know I'm stronger than you".

"Ya whatever" He shrugs and goes back to reading his book.
