Chapter 5 Revised (11/5/2020)
Flashback
"Wha? How can..NARUTO?!" shouted Sarutobi
"Hahah, look at your face jiji, you looked so shocked" laughs Naruto off
"Well jiji, we need to talk to you about something important" he said, changing the mood rapidly

"How are you here Naruto-kun!?" said Sarutobi unceremoniously while glancing towards the place where the ANBU's supposed to be
"You wont find them there jiji, we've created a distraction enough to divert them from their posts" Naruto said while shrungging
"we?" Sarutobi said while glancing towards Sasuke and Sakura
There was a silence and suddenly the third was standing in front of Naruto, kunai in his jugular.
" Who are you, and what are you doing in the Konoha grounds" said Sarutobi threateningly
"You seem to be oblivious of your current state Hokage-sama" Sasuke said while grinning, in a flash he had a kunai placed in the Hokage's neck
"Now-now boys, let's not be hasty and solve this like a decent human beings okay" Sakura being the rational one finally breaks the ice
All four of them reverted to their former place and the Hokage takes a seat in his chair while the trio stands in front of the Hokage's table
" I could signal an ANBU to bring all three of you to the I&T in a second so give me a good reason not to do that" said Sarutobi while smoking his pipe
"First things first, drop that henge" he said while putting down his pipe "It hurts my eyes to see a criminal impersonate Konoha civilians"
"We're not a henge, we're the real deal" said Sasuke darkly
" Don't be so gloomy teme, but yeah jiji we're actually Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura" Naruto said while pointing to himself and his teammates "The reason why our...attitude seems so distinct is because we're from the future"
"That is the most atrocious explanation I've ever heard during my time as a Hokage" chuckles Sarutobi "That's it I'm calling the ANBU"
"WAIT JIJI" Naruto shouted while he began to find reasons to authenticate his statement
"We know about the coup you're plotting against the Uchiha clan" said Sasuke hastily
That seems to get the attention of Sarutobi while his demeanor changed drastically
"That's and S-class information, how did you know about that" Sarutobi asked warily
"Because as I said we're from the future!" said Naruto, frustrated
" I know that you coaxed Itachi and make him a double agent for Konoha, I can't believe a man like you became a Hokage" Sasuke said barely controlling his anger
" I won't let you take hold of Itachi and make him the black sheep of the village and I won't let the massacre occurs" said Sasuke threateningly while flashing his Mangekyou and Rinnegan dangerously.
The Hokage was stunned but regained his composure immediately
"I guess you're saying the truth then" Sarutobi said, his eyes seems to soften and he asked again "How far back have you travelled?"
"We were 16, there was a war and everyone died, we were sent back here by the sage of six paths" Naruto answered dejectedly
"Sage of six paths? war? what had actually happened in the future?" the Hokage asked bewilderedly
"Madara was resurrected and he started a war to create an ideal world under a genjutsu, however it turns out that Kaguya was the actual puppeteer in all this. Kaguya hits us with a jutsu and the sage of six paths saved us and gave us the chance to fix everything....well not everything (referring to the Kyuubi attack) but he managed to transport us before anything worse occurs" answered Sakura
"I'm not letting this second chance go to waste, I will stop the coup" said Sasuke, directed to the Hokage
The third Hokage takes a deep breath and overlooks the village by the window
"It all came up to that then..very well what do you have in mind?" asks Sarutobi to the trio.
Shocked by the fact how the third takes the information so well, the trio was quite apalled..
"Uh ano..you believed us then jiji" Naruto asks sputteringly
" Well, after years of experience I know the truth when i hear it, now what's your proposition" asks Sarutobi once again
"We were thinking of joining the ANBU, and maybe the ROOT, so we can get closer to Danzo" answers Sasuke
"Hmm..that could be quite hard because for sure you three can't go there under your current identity, and joining the ANBU means you have to take real missions too in order for your disguise to work" said Sarutobi
"You bet jiji!, we're the strongest ninja ever existed dattebayo!" shouted Naruto
" Uhm I think that's a bit of an exaggeration Naruto" Sakura said while cringing
"Very well, I will think about it and I will talk to you once again tomorrow, keep this a secret for now and resume your current activities, this will be labeled as an SS-class secret" said the third.
The trio seems to be satisfied of the hokage's answer but they became stiff as a stick after realizing one minor fact..
"E-eh current activities?" asks naruto
"If I'm not mistaken you three are supposed to be in the academy right now" answered Sarutobi
"EEH...EHHHHH???"
