Chapter 10 - Sharingan Shenanigans

However all of that was put to halt when Sasuke senses a chakra behind him, it travels fast and all of a sudden a he felt cold metal against his neck

"Who are you and what have you done to my brother" Itachi said

Silence ensues and the two went quiet for quite a while, Sasuke hid his rinnesharingan under genjutsu although it was too late considering the situation. Itachi presses the kunai to his neck and draws blood

"I don't have the patience to ask for the second time" said Itachi darkly

Sasuke gulps and considers his options as life seems to flash before his eyes for....the hundredth time?

"Okay, I'll tell you the truth but release the kunai" said Sasuke

Itachi slowly retracts the kunai from his neck while watching him closely, in case Sasuke attempts to run.

"Well, nii-san I am indeed Sasuke, one and only"

Itachi's eyes swirl and form the Mangekyo

"Before we go all rampant, I have a really good excuse as to why I'm not acting like..well Sasuke because..." Sasuke paused, creating a tension

"I'm from the future"

"You must be crazy to think I will believe that" Itachi said, making his move

"Ah, I knew this won't be enough...damn it all then" Sasuke mutters and activates his rinnesharingan and eternal mangekyou, immediately entrapping Itachi in a genjutsu.

Itachi decided that he will find out what's wrong with his beloved baby brother today, hm- he's going to a training ground. Well, that's not out of the norm but he was so to say beyond shocked when Sasuke's chakra spikes up beyond anything that he ever feels and was even more speechless when he sees a susanoo forming around Sasuke's side. He can't see his eyes because he's following him from the back but one should muster a MS to conjure Susanoo.

With that Itachi takes action.

"I'm from the future" impostor Sasuke said

Itachi did not believe him until suddenly he was trapped in a genjutsu, but this was different. Instead of torture, he seems to be watching scenes...no memories. The memories were to vivid and he can feel the raw emotion in each scene;

Itachi saw himself standing in front of his parents, deceased. With him holding a bloody katana.

He saw himself wearing a straw hat and a cloak with red clouds...the Akatsuki, as he chokes his brother.

He saw himself walking towards Sasuke, both look battle-worn and are standing among heaps of rubbles as he watched himself poking Sasuke in the forehead and goes limp soon after he poked Sasuke....he saw himself died.

When he thought that was the end, he sees a desolate land...no it was not desolate, dead shinobis were strewn all over the land, most of them seem to have died in the most gruesome ways. Most of them seem to have a spike of wood embedded in their body.

Darkness.

Then suddenly he was conscious and was back to the land of reality.

"Well, do you believe me now" the impostor....no, Sasuke said.
