Chapter Update: 26 January 2021
A/N: I'M SORRY I WAS LATE A WEEK FROM MY PROMISE!
I did not expect the first week of school to be busy but whadda ya know, it hits me like a truck, anyway this chapter is a bit short for my taste but I think it's best to end it here because the upcoming chapters will be more packed :)
Recap:
Naruto proceeds to take off his mask and lays it on the ground, he stays still despite the fact that Kurama can actually heals his body.
"The Haruno girl is intervening my work kit, tell her to stop"
"Just let her Kurama, it's her way to show that she cares"
"Damn it"
"My- what happens here, it looks wrecked, oh aren't you the team from befo-" a figure with a silver hair and his team behinds him approaches the trio, but he suddenly stops when he sees the three figure sitting on the ground and....is that Minato sensei?
Naruto immediately take his mask and covers it, Sakura shifted her position so that Naruto's form is hidden, not that it helps now, hopefully the ANBU's hadn't seen anything.
"Stupid, why didn't I sensed them" Sakura curses under her breath.
"Do you think they see it?" Naruto whispers under his mask.
"We can only hope not...ah shit there's Kakashi" Sasuke replied
The backup..or rather the "just happend to be passing" ANBU's assess the area and look at the newly formed craters in the area, one of them whistled. Kakashi approach the trio and peek over Sakura's form
"You okay there?" Kakashi asked
"Ah yeah, don't worry, she's a great medic" replied Naruto while trying to get up
"Stay down baka" Sakura reprimands, shoving Naruto back to the ground
"Sorry Sa-Sumuri-chan" Naruto muttered
"Ah, okay then...mind telling us what happened here?" asked an ANBU besides Kakashi
"It's supposed to be an easy...well a usual S-class mission, we finished the mission but a slimy S-class missing nin suddenly appears without any warning" Sasuke replied
"Slimy..S-class missing nin?" asked the ANBU unsure what to make of the statement
"Orochimaru" Sakura clarifies
"W-What? It's been years since we have any lead with him, this....this is a big news" the ANBU said.
"Do you know what his intentions are?" asks Kakashi
"We're not sure..but it seems like he's going for his doujutsu" Naruto spoke, referring to Sasuke
"Ah, the new Uchiha...by the way we haven't introduce ourself haven't we?" Kakashi said sheepishly
"I'm the captain of this cell, Inu, these two are my teammates Tenzo and Neko, Tenzo, and Ko" introduced Kakashi, his teammates bows upon hearing each of their names.
"I'm Kitsune, the leader of this group, this brood over here is hebi...ironically, and this amazing kunoichi here is katatsumuri" Naruto introduced while trying to sit up, helped by Sakura. (FIXFIX)
