"Well then, let's ask the Hokage for the so-called suicide mission" resolves Sasuke.
With that, the trio and Itachi in tow went to the Hokage tower
" Any idea what we will do by the time we got there?" asks Naruto while heading towards the tower, jumping on top of rooftops.
" Aren't we going to ask for a mission?" Sakura said
"Well yeah, what kind though"
"An S-rank one?" Sasuke suggests
"I'm pretty sure the Konoha is in a peaceful state so I don't think there'll be any S-rank....or are there?" Naruto asks while looking to Itachi for confirmation
"There is actually...a lot, but most of them are handled by high-jounin or ANBU's so it's understandable if you don't know about it"
"Ah yeah...what was the rank of our previous mission Sakura?"
" It's a bounty mission...so A rank I guess" Sakura replied
"Hm...doesn't feel like an A rank though," Naruto said to himself
"Well, I'm pretty sure a fight with chakra goddess will increase your tolerance towards mission difficulty dobe" Sasuke butted in.
"Hah..true"
Itachi seems to be interested when Sasuke brought up the topic but he decided to refrain from asking the topic and save it for later discussion with Sasuke. After a few minutes they've finally arrived in the Hokage tower, Itachi goes into stealth mode and the rest of the trio henge'd into their older ANBU form. This time they opt to use the door instead of the window because sometimes you just gotta be formal y'know.
The trio head to the secretary desk in front of the Hokage, the secretary was a woman in her late 20's and from her chakra signature seems to be a chuunin and the fact that she was startled when the trio approached her. Either the trio is really good at masking their chakra or she's just a bad sensor.
"U-Uh, hello ANBU-san, how may I help you" she stammered
"We're here for the appointment with the Hokage" Naruto said
"Ah..um did you make an appointment" she said as she flips the pages of her agenda
"No, it's urgent." Sasuke said coldly
"A-ah I see..the Hokage might be busy....but I'll inform him of your presence" she said, changing her mind as she felt the KI emanating from the trio.
After a short wait, the trio was able to enter the Hokage's office, the three smirking behind their masks.
"That was a bit mean teme"
"You were enjoying every second of it dobe"
"Ah, it's you three again, I appreciate the effort of using the door albeit scaring the hell out of my secretary"
"Nice to meet you too jiji" Naruto smirks
behind his mask
"I reckon you're asking for a new mission?" the Hokage asks
