𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕:

Apart from two words: stress and disappointment, I have no idea how to characterise what happened yesterday.

Morana's scary, enthralled expression on her face could have had me on my fucking knees

I was on the verge of passing out.

I can't believe she didn't kiss me.

Ugh, shut up Harper you are getting way ahead of yourself.

Is this tension that I think we have FAKE?

Is it really just fake but 'real' to me because I want it to be real so bad?

If it is real, I know for a fact I'm not the only one who feels it.

The disappointment made me want to cry all of a sudden, which was so embarrassing.

Our day is cut short because of the planning that we need to do for Parents Day, which is next week.

The sports teacher and captains need to choose people for the small exhibits, we have way bigger ones as well as a bigger art show on the half-term day which isn't even that long after Parents Day, which is confusing.

My parents are coming I think, I'm going to ask when I call them today.

I know that they will do their best though.

I wonder what Morana's parents look like, they must be very attractive, I bet they would look like some royal family in a picture.

I'm looking forward to seeing them honestly, I'm very curious.

I'm sure I'm not in any exhibits or anything since I'm just, well- an average joe.

I don't want pity but there is nothing special about me.

I wish though.

My phone suddenly rang making me jump, I check it, oh, it's my dad and possibly with my mum.

I pick up of course because I have nothing better to do and I was thinking of calling my parents anyway,

"Hey, dad, so are you coming next week for parents day?" I ask straight away,

"Yes, we are coming! I'm going to be so happy to see you, we just couldn't miss the opportunity to come, we have to sweetie, " my mum says excitedly,

"Aww, I'm so excited to see you. I can't wait to show you all the places here, it's so beautiful," I said,

"Yes darling, we have to go now, I know it's soon but we have a lot of business to do but we'll call you tonight, love you," my dad says smiling,

"Love you too guys," I reply hanging up.

I feel a sensation of someone watching me, and I flick my head around and lo behold, it's Morana.

Why is she EVERYWHERE?!

I'm getting tired of it.

She makes me feel weird, In the best way possible.

"Uhh, hi?" I ask Morana,

"Hmm, yeah," she replies dryly,

"Soo, uh, are your parents coming next week?" I say, in a weak attempt to create conversation,

"I don't know, maybe, I don't really care," she says shrugging,

her expression was not readable, but deep inside, I think she wants to see her family,
