I have been wandering the streets of London for at least half an hour now and every step i took made me more and more lost. I was cold, tired and so hungry i swear my stomach was starting to eat itself. I had only moved to London three weeks ago and being the stubborn idiot that I am, i refused to listen to my new flat mate when she warned me I would get lost. Now i am greatly regretting my stupidity. Ofcourse i was going to get lost in a city I wasnt familiar with, I dont know why I seemed to think I would have some magical super power for naviagting strange places that other people didn't have.

As I was about to pass through the mouth of a dimly lit, and rather creepy looking alley way, my phone started blaring out Taylor swift, causing me to jump ten feet out of my skin. After almost dropping the blasted thing, I held the phone up to my ear and gave a shaky "hello".

"Devina St Clair, are you insane!?" came the screeching voice of Ally, my forementioned flat mate. Her voice was so loud I almost couldn't hold the phone to my ear. "It is eleven o'clock at night and you are nowhere to be seen! Do you not realise how dangerous the streets of London are? Anything could have happened to you! I told you not to walk home, but did you listen to me? Ofcourse not! What do you have to say for yourself?"

"Wow okay firstly 'mother', breathe. I am perfectly okay, I am just, well you know, a teeny tiny bit lost. And by that I mean i have walked past the same bar three times and I have absolutely no idea how to get home."

After taking a deep, agitated breath, Ally grumbled "okay, okay where are you? I'm coming to get you."

"Umm..." I mumbled as I looked around desperately for a street sign. Finally spotting one I breathed out in relief and told Ally I was in Chamber Street.

"What!?" She screamed. "No Devina this is bad! This is very, very bad. You're in Black Blood's terriortiry. They are a gang, a very evil, horrible gang and their leader is a ruthless killer. If he spots you in his territory, you are as good as dead. Oh my god, I should have warned you, i'm such a terrible friend. Just stay where you are and I will be there as fast as I can. I'm going to hang up now so I can drive to you."

The phone went dead with a click and I released a shaky breath as it started to sink in that I was completely alone in supposed gang territory. The paranoia started to kick in as I began to feel like someone was watching me. Slowly i took a step back but was stopped when I suddenly ran into a brick wall, or what was actually a solid, male chest. I gasped in shock as strong arms suddenly wrapped around me and I felt cold metal under my neck.

"Hello there beautiful," whispered a rough voice as i was pulled into the alley.
