"Krebs Cycle, or the citric acid cycle, has eight steps which are a series of redox, dehydration, hydration, and decarboxylation reactions that produce two carbon dioxide molecules---" A knock on my door interrupted my self-recitation. "Come in."

"Good morning, Ate Vienne. Are you studying po?" Tory, with her disheveled hair, entered my room.

"Yes, baby. Come here, ang gulo ng hair mo." Lumapit siya sa akin para maayos ko ang buhok niya. "What is it?"

"Can you kamot my back, Ate?"

Natatawa kong kinamot ang likod niya. Tumatangkad na si Tory. Sooner or later, she'll be my not-so-little baby girl. "When are you gonna watch with me again, Ate Vienne?"

"I'm just gonna study for a little bit more, then I'll watch with you later. Is that okay?"

Agad namang tumango si Tory. I kissed her on the cheeks. "Go muna. I'll go to your room after studying." Tumango siya at yumakap muna sa'kin bago tahimik na umalis sa kwarto.

I focused on Krebs cycle for another hour before checking my phone for a little break. When I opened instagram, I saw Cole posted a story. It was a picture of his modules with a caption "Kill me." I smiled at it before clicking the 'haha' reaction.

Not a while, he replied.

I couldn't help but smile before replying.

@evreyes : hahaha what subject is that?

@seagreg : Histology, as usual. What are you doing?

Napataas ang kilay ko.

@evreyes : why ask?

@seagreg : I can't?

I rolled my eyes.

@evreyes : studying too.

@seagreg : Let's study together? I'm dying here.

And he wouldn't die if I study with him?

@evreyes : gonna watch with tory for a while.

@seagreg : What are you guys watching?

@evreyes : cartoons ig

@seagreg : Can I join?

My eyebrows furrowed. What's with this guy?

@evreyes : don't you have friends?

@seagreg : As if Tyrone will pick me over Xavi.

@evreyes : tyrone? xavi?

@seagreg : My friends. They're a couple.

@evreyes : ooff thirdwheel

@seagreg : Haha i'm coming over.

Napailing nalang ako at hindi na nagreply. I finalized my readings for today at tyaka ako pumunta sa kwarto ni Tory. I knocked before entering.

"It's Ate Vienne."

"Come in, Ate!" I came in after her permission.

"Kuya Cole might come and watch with us. Is that okay?" I asked as I walk towards her bed. Nakadapa kasi siya don at naglalaro ng ipad.

"Really? He's coming over?"

"Yes, is that okay?"

"Of course, Ate Vienne! I like Kuya Cole!" Wow.

"Are we gonna wait for him or do you want to start watching with me?"

She pouted and tugged my shirt. "Ate Vienne, can you make us some popcorn?"
