"Vienne, gising ka na..." I groaned and tried to turn my back on Xavi. She didn't let me.

"Five more minutes." I murmured.

"Okay..." She softly said before burying her face on my side. She was cuddling me.

Wait.

Agad kong naidilat ang mata ko nang marealize na nasa tabi ko na si Xavi.

Nasa hotel room na ako.

Umaga na.

"What the heck?" I blurted out. Iniangat ni Xavi ang ulo niya para tignan ako.

"Si Cole nag-uwi sa'yo kagabi." Sabi nito. "Lasing ka. Ayaw mo bitawan yung damit, nakakahiya ka." Balewala nitong kwento.

Agad na nanlaki ang mata ko. No fucking way!

"Hanggang 3am nandito kasi ayaw mo bitawan yung sweat shorts niya." Walang bakas ng pang-aasar ang tono ni Xavi pero nahihiya ako. "Nakaalis lang siya no'ng dumating na ako."

What the hell, Erica Vienne!

Bumalik sa pagkakasubsob ng mukha si Xavi sa gilid. She was being extra clingy today.

"Bakit umaga ka na bumalik?" Tanong ko.

Hindi ito sumagot at mahigpit lang ako niyakap.

"Why?" I tried removing her hug to make her face me.

"Huwag kang madamot, Vienne. Payakap lang, eh." Parang bata nitong sabi. Napangiti nalang ako at hinayaan siyang yumakap sa akin.

"Did something happen?" I tried asking.

I pressed my lips together when she shook her head. It's obvious that she didn't want to talk about it. I should respect that.

"Ikaw? Ano'ng naaalala mo?"

"I don't want to talk about it." I sighed.

Tuwing maghihikab si Cole ay kinakain ako ng guilt ko. I didn't want to let go of his sweat shorts! He had to stay up all night to look after me. He even removed my makeup and did my skincare while I was dead! Nakakahiya!

"I'm sorry about last night..." I said.

Nilingon niya lang ako.

"I was..." Damn it. I sighed. "I'm sorry."

He looked at me for a second before nodding his head. "Don't worry about it." He answered.

"You didn't have to do all that... You could've just left me at my room." Paliit nang paliit ang boses ko habang sinasabi 'yon.

"You didn't let go of my shorts." He answered that made my cheeks turn red.

He just had to mention that part!

"Don't worry about it, Doc." Muli niyang sabi.

The three days medical mission ended smoothly. Mabuti at wala namang aberya ang nangyari. The people were nice and respectful towards each other and the health care team.

Xavi was oddly quiet on the second and third day. I didn't want to ask her about it because I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable. I have to stay on my line.

She's always gonna tell me, whenever she's ready.

"Mag-grab kayo?" Nilingon ko si Cole na biglang sumulpot sa likod ko.

Xavi excused herself to go to the toilet. We just arrived in Manila. Dito kami sa PAGH ibinaba ng bus.

"Yes."
