Chapter 9

I was laying next to Marinette so when I felt her shaking I was the first to wake up. It was like when I was Chat noir and she was having a nightmare. I immediately got out of my sleeping bag which woke up Alya. Marinette started whimpering.

"What, what's wrong with Marinette?" She asked sleepily

"She's having a nightmare" I said

I pulled her out and put her on my lap. She started crying. She was muttering but I couldn't make out what she was saying. Alya woke Nino up then she came and sat next to me.

"Shh Marinette" Alya said

"We're right here" I said

She started breathing heavily.

"What do we do?" Nino asked

"Nino go get her water, Adrien stay with her." Alya said standing up

We nodded, Nino walked downstairs and Alya walked into the bathroom.

"No, no" Marinette started mumbling "Stop"

"Mari?" I asked

She screamed, I grabbed onto her tighter and hugged her.

"Hey Marinette" I whispered "It's me, Chat noir, I'm right here you're safe." I whispered

She relaxed a little before she tended again

"Don't, don't go, I'm sorry, don't go!" She cried

Nino came back with a cup of water and Alya came back with a worried face. Marinette was still squirming in my arms crying and mumbling to herself.

"Guys do you remember sandboy?" Alya asked

"Yes" I said

"Why" Nino asked

"Because that kid got akumatized during a nightmare. We can't let that happen to Marinette." She said

I felt myself grow pale, Marinette screamed again. I grabbed onto her again.

"No, HELP, Chat no!" She cried

"Marinette, it's ok. Your nightmare isn't real." I said

She seemed to be trying to wake up.

"N-not, r-real?" She asked

"Yes Marinette, it's not real." Alya said

"Yeah remember, your having a sleepover with us" Nino said

"With, you?" She asked

"Yes, just wake up" I couldn't believe this was actually working

"N-not, r-real, n-not r-real, NOT REAL!" She woke up tears still streaming down her face

She grabbed onto me and hugged me, I hugged her back

"Is, is he ok, d-did I actually kill him?" She asked shaking

"Marinette you didn't kill anyone" Alya said handing her the cup of water Nino got

She slid off of me and took the water.

"S-sorry guys." She said shyly

"It's ok, we were just worried about you" Nino said

"Do you want to talk about it?" Alya asked

"Not right now" she said "Thank you guys, I'll be right back" she walked to her balcony

"Did you hear how she said Chat?" Nino said sitting back down
