Chapter 2

***Adrien's POV***

I already knew that Marinette wasn't coming but it didn't make it any easier. It didn't help that the second Alya found out I knew anything she kept trying to hunt me down to interrogate me but at lunch she finally cornered me.

"Do you know what happened to Marinette because I don't believe she fell down the stairs, she's clumsy but not that clumsy." Alya said, and I swear she was staring into my soul.

"I-I do know w-what happened." I muttered.

"Well spill!" She yelled.

"Well, she asked me not to tell anyone." I muttered sinking to the ground.

"I DONT CARE AGRESTE SPILL OR I'LL RIP IT OUT OF YOUR BRAIN!" She yelled.

"Alya calm down, let the man breathe." Nino said, pulling Alya away from me.

"Thank you." I whispered.

"But dude seriously what actually happened?" He asked.

I thought about it for a second, I didn't want to betray Marinette's trust but we were her best friends. She could trust us, but I knew that if she wanted to keep it a secret I should honor that.

"Earth to Adrien?" Alya said impatiently, waving her hand in front of my face.

"Ok I'll tell you, but you can't tell anyone." I said.

"Why?" Nino asked.

"She asked me not to tell anyone." I said.

"Fine we won't tell anyone." Alya said more impatiently.

I told them all I knew about what had happened between Chloe, Lila, and Sabrina. Leaving out that the guy was me.

"Oh hell no! I'm about to beat up some bitches!" Alya said.

"Wait Alya, I think we need to tell Adrien." Nino said nervously.

"Oh." she said before sitting down and sighing.

"What?" I asked.

"Well dude that guy is you." Nino said.

I knew that but I acted surprised.

"Does she still have a crush on me?" I asked.

"Honestly some days she does and some days she doesn't, that girl can't be clear with herself but I think she's moving on, which they clearly don't understand." Alya said in frustration.

"You do realize that if you confront them about it they'll think that she told you and then, well you know what will happen. At least according to them." Nino said sitting next to Alya.

Alya sighed and lay her head in Nino's shoulder. I sat in front of them.

"I'm going to visit Mari after school." I said.

"Will your dad let you?" Nino asked.

"I'll tell him I have an extra fencing lesson or something, I want to see how Marinette's doing." I said.

"OMG! Do you finally realize you have a crush on her!" Alya squealed.

"Maybe." I muttered.

Nino laughed. "About time"

***Marinette's POV***

We were driving to the doctors office, I was playing on my phone ignoring my parents talking about what I could have broken or if I would need to go to a hospital. I knew they were over exaggerating but it still worried me. Tiki was hiding in my purse which I had to fight my parents to convince them to let me bring. Every once and a while she would pop up to look out the window then fly back in before my parents saw her. We made it to the office and my dad helped me in. Me and my mom sat and waited before a doctor came out asking for me to come back, my dad helped me back, then they were asked to stay out which the reluctantly nodded to before leaving.
