Chapter 19

***Adrien's POV***

We landed at the bottom of the hotel. We walked in to be met by Chloe. She was crying and shaking. I wanted to run over and kill her too but Alya grabbed my shoulder holding me back and walked over to her. She crouched down and put a hand on Chloe's shoulder. She looked up and cried even harder.

"Chloe, are you alright?" Scarbella asked

"A-am I a-alright?!? W-why should y-you c-care I h-helped k-killed a-an i-inocent g-girl. I-I've b-been a t-terrible p-person"

"Do you truly feel bad?"

Chloe quickly nodded. 

"Will you help us defeat Hawkmoth?"

"Yes" She said without hesitation

She stood up and dried her tears. 

"Follow me"

We followed Chloe into the basement. She had to put a passcode in to get into the room. 

"I can't go in with you, good luck. I'm truly sorry"

I nodded to her before we walked into the dark. The room looked like a storage room. Multiple boxes and shelves full of things like extra blankets and towels. Then we heard someone laugh. We all got into our defensive positions.   

"Oh look, the little superheros are scared." A man called, I guessed Hawkmoth.

"Maybe it's because Marinette is dead." A girl laughed, Volpina.

We looked around the room, we couldn't see them anywhere. Then Volpina came out of the shadows and jumped at Scarbella. I pushed Scarbella out of the way and Volpina fell to the floor. Scarbella tied her up with her yo-yo. Volpina screamed in frustration. I turned to fight Hawkmoth. 

"You know I was kind of sad to kill that girl but, I killed two birds with one stone. Maybe more than one." Hawkmoth laughed 

"What do you mean?" Scarbella asked

"Well she had relations to a superhero and, I took the opportunity to get rid of Ladybug." 

His laugh angered me, not only did he want to use Marinette just because she knew me but he somehow found out she was Ladybug. Hawkmoth jumped out at me. I blocked him with my staff. I fought Hawkmoth while Scarbella deakumatized Volpina. When Lila was deakumatized she ran out of the room. 

"Your outnumbered 2-1. Give up" Scarbella yelled at Hawkmoth

"You really think I'm going to listen to what a couple of teenagers are telling me to do?" Hawkmoth laughed

"Yes, your going to give us your miraculous" Scarbella said 

"Oh really? It's not like you have anything against me" His laugh was cold. 

"Yes we do. We have your son" I said quietly

"W-what? It's not like y-you would h-hurt him right?" 

"If that's what it took to save all of Paris we would. Give it up, Now!"

"W-where is he?"

I laughed, I couldn't believe he cared at all. 

"He's safe, for now"

"Fine take my miraculous I at least want to see my son." 

"Fine, but after we take it" I said 

Scarbella walked forward and took it from him. He turned back into Gabriel Agreste. 

"N-now please, where is my son?"
