Chapter 12

***Marinette's POV***

I was walking to the place the person wanted me to meet them at, and although I couldn't see him, I knew Chat was not very far behind me. I made it to the spot. It was dark and by an alleyway and a creepy shop was close to the corner, I had never been to this part of Paris before. I saw a person walking towards me in the alleyway.

"Hello?" I said

"You came" the person said

It was a man, he had a hood up and I recognized his voice but I couldn't tell from where.

"Yes, now what did you want to talk about?" I asked

"Follow me," he said, turning and walking farther into the alleyway.

I carefully followed, looking up to see if Chat was there, I couldn't see him but I prayed he was there.

"What did you want?" I asked

He grabbed my arm and pulled his hood off, it was Aaron.

"Aaron?"

"Yes, now I'm very sorry but you're coming with me." He said something covered my eyes

"What the! What are you doing!" I felt something cover my mouth and I felt my vision going in and out of focus. I hit the ground. Then I heard something jump into the alleyway.

"What the-! Grab the girl and get to the car!" Aaron yelled

I felt myself being lifted up, I also heard someone else falling to the ground from being hit.

"C-Chat N-Noir!" Aaron said

"Let. Her. Go." He said

"I-I'm s-sorry b-but I-I c-can't" Aaron said

"And why is that!?" Chat yelled

I was still being moved farther and farther away from them.

"B-because I-I'm g-getting p-paid t-to d-do t-this" he said

"By who!?" Chat yelled again I heard him push who I guessed was Aaron to the ground

"B-by G-Gabriel A-Agreste" he said, he sounded like he might cry

I didn't hear anymore because I blacked out.

***pLoT tWiSt 😈***Adrien's POV***

"B-by G-Gabriel A-Agreste" he said

I hit him so hard he might have a concussion. My dad wanted to kidnap Marinette? Why? I turned around, she was gone. I quickly jumped off towards we're I saw them taking her. I saw a man carrying Marinette and was about to put her in a car. I jumped at him and made him drop her. I caught her right before she hit the ground, and pulled the bag off her head.

"What the-!" He jumped in the car and told the guy to drive

I collapsed to the ground and held Marinette's small, unconscious body to my chest. I started to cry, taking in what just happened. My dad for some reason wanted to kidnap my girlfriend, well to him one of my best friends. I almost actually lost her to Aaron, and she could have gotten seriously hurt. What would have happened if she didn't tell me. I cried even harder, staining her shirt with my tears. I felt her groan and start to move. I knew I had to get her home. I stood up and started running towards her house. I landed and went inside to lay on her chaise. I held her close to me, her back pressed to my chest, my arms draped across her stomach in a small hug. I felt her starting to wake up.

"C-Chat?" She asked

I stayed quiet

"C-Chat?!" I could tell she was starting to panic

"It's ok, I'm right here" I said quietly

She let out a breath and relaxed.

"What happened?" She asked grabbing my hand

"They tried to kidnap you" I said

"W-who?"

"Aaron, but he was working for-"

"For who?"

I made her sit up and face me. I grabbed her hands.

"Gabriel Agreste."

"W-what!" She said "D-do you know w-why?!"

"No, but I might go kill him later" I whispered

"Kitty don't kill anyone" she said holding my cheek with her hand

"Ok, but only because you said so" I said

"Thank you for coming with me, I don't know what would have happened if I went by myself." She said

"They would have kidnapped you, and I don't when I would see you again" I said

"Kitty, you would have found a way to find me." She said

Then I kissed her. At first she kind of freaked out but then she leaned into it. I felt all of my worry's melt away at her touch. She put her hands up into my hair, deepening the kiss. Then we split apart to breathe. I put my forehead to hers.

"I love you, so much princess" I said

"I love you to kitty" she said

"I'll see you soon, ok?" I said

"Ok, soon" she said

I gave her one last quick peck on the lips before leaving. After everything today, that was the best thing to happen. But as I was going home I kept thinking about why my so-called father wanted Marinette.

***3rd person***

Aaron nervously called Gabriel.

"Yes?"

"Hello, Mr.Agreste. We didn't get the girl." He said

"And why not!?" Gabriel yelled

"Because Chat Noir stopped us" Aaron said

"Really?" Gabriel asked happily

"Yes, we almost got her out but he stopped us, and he was super ticked off" Aaron said

"Thank you Aaron, you have done your job" Gabriel said hanging up

"Why are you so happy, master?" Nooroo asked

"Chat Noir is very protective over Marinette." Gabriel said

"Ok, but why would that help us?" Nooroo asked

"Because if we get the girl, we trade her for his miraculous." Gabriel said

"Gabriel, sir." Natalie said walking in "Lila is waiting for further instructions"

"Good, tell her that she will be needed here tomorrow, early." Gabriel said

"Sir, you really need to tell your son" Natalie said walking back out

"She's right, master, it will be harder the longer you wait." Nooroo said

"Fine, I'll tell him tomorrow, if I have time" Gabriel said

Adrien got home and detransformed.

"Plagg, why do you think my dad would want to kidnap Marinette?" He asked

"I don't know, but I have a weird feeling something fishy is going on" Plagg said

"I need to get in contact with the real Ladybug" Adrien said getting changed

"Why's that?" Plagg asked

"Because I need to talk to her about a bunch of different stuff. I'll ask Scarbella next time I see her." Adrien said hoping into bed

"Whatever lover boy." Plagg said

Adrien groaned at Plagg's comment but quickly forgot about them when he thought of Marinette and how he had his first real kiss with her tonight.
