Chapter 13

***We are skipping Sunday, still Adrien's POV***

I was getting ready for school when I heard a knock at my door. I assumed it was Natalie and yelled for her to come in but it was my dad.

"We need to talk." He said

"Can it wait till after school? I don't want to be late." I said

"Alright but I need you to come straight home, it is very important." He said walking out 

"Of course."

"What do you think he wants to talk about?" Plagg asked

"I have no idea. Come on were going to be late."

We got to school and I was glad to see Marinette was happy. We headed to class and Lila and Chloe were both asked to go to the principal's office. Rumors started to quickly spread but we stayed away from them. We were eating lunch laughing and talking and we heard Lila and Chloe yelling about it being unfair they were suspended. 

"I mean he didn't even give us a straight answer." Chloe yelled

"Yeah, and he wouldn't tell us who told on us. I mean it can't have been Marinette. She was way too scared." Lila said

They were walking over to our table while loudly talking.

"Adrien, why are you sitting with her? Your dad said she is a bad influence." Lila said

"Who? Alya?" I asked, I knew they were talking about Mari but I wanted to mess with them

"No, Maritrash!" Chloe yelled

"Who's that?" I asked

"Marinette, you know that girl" Lila said pointing at Marinette

"Wait, her name is Maritrash?" I said sounding surprised

Marinette giggled

"Ugh, no that's just what we call her." Chloe said

"Oh, well I don't know what you guys are talking about. I've never seen this person in my life." I said

"Yeah so scram" Alya said

"Make us, you don't own this spot!" Chloe said

"Besides, we need to talk to our partner about the project." Lila said

"Sorry I'm busy, we can talk later" Marinette said 

Some kids had started to stare. Lila grabbed Marinette roughly by the arm and pulled her up.

"Ow" Marinette said

"Lila leave her alone" Nino said

"One moment" She said

She started to pull Marinette but me and Alya grabbed Marinette's hands and Nino blocked them from leaving

"Let her go" Alya said

"Fine, we'll see you later. Marinette" Lila said walking away with Chloe

"You ok?" I asked

"Yeah thanks to you guys" She said sitting back down

"Those girls are a pain in the a-"

Nino was cut off by screams, it was an akuma.

"OH MARINETTE!"

"ADRIEN!" 

It was Lila and Chloe, great

"We need to split you two up" Nino said
