Chapter 13

~Bucky's POV~

"Okay, bye. See you soon." Wanda's voice was the last I heard before they hung up.

"Bucky..." Nat trailed off. 

"What?" I looked at her and glared. 

"I know she hates you, but can you guys just like get along for the next few days?" She asked.

"I try, Nat. I really do. But she always has a snarky comment ready to go." I felt anger deep down. "More than I trust you." I quoted her.

"Hey, it's okay." She said to me. "You need to find a way to get on her good side." Oh trust me, I've tried. She took a left when the GPS told her to. A phone beeped. "Hey can you check that? It might be Steve." I nodded and grabbed the phone. 

"No it's from Wanda and it has an attachment." I opened it. It was a picture of Y/N and a baby. Her smiled and him holding it made me smile a little. 

"What is it." She tried to take the phone from me. 

"Hey keep your eyes on the road." I yelled. "Check it when we get to the hotel." I told her.

~Wanda's POV~

Seeing Y/N with the baby made me smile, so I took a picture when she wasn't looking and sent it to Nat. 

"So Mila..." Y/N trailed off. 

"Y/N." I loved her accent. I think it was Peruvian. 

"So we need to talk." She said. 

"Hey, V. How about you take Ethan outside?" Mila said to Valeria. 

"Hey, Peter?" Y/N said, still holding Ethan. "Why don't you go with them?" He nodded and Valeria took Ethan from Y/N. When I heard the door shut, Y/N started asking Mila, her questions.

"I remember we had a witness willing to testify," Y/N started and Mila nodded, "but he was killed with the SOS's M.O.. So we got the warrant but they were nowhere to be found." Mila nodded. "You've been on the taskforce for this gang after I left. So you probably have more information now than you did before?"

"Yeah, we studied their patterns when we knew they came back to LA. We knew they got a knew mob boss. We have assaults and murders pointing to them, but we never have enough solid evidence to put at least some of them away." Mila explained. "These people are brutal, and now they have a person with inhuman abilities. That makes it that more harder."

"Luckily we have a few people with inhuman abilities on our side, too." She smirked at me. 

"That's why you look familiar." She said turning to me. "I see you and the Avengers on the news, my friend's son loves to watch videos on y'all." I nodded and smiled. 

"We do what we can for the community, and this community needs these idiots behind bars before more people get killed." I said.

"There's the hero speech." Y/N said. Mila laughed and looked at me. 

"Has she always been a smart-ass?" I whispered to Mila. She nodded, and I smiled at Y/N and she frowned. We heard a beeping noise and Mila pulls out her phone. 

"I've got to go. I have to drop Valeria and Ethan at mi madre's house. It's going to be a  late night with me at the office." Mila forced a smile.

"I'll take them." Y/N offered. "If Señora Herrera is still in the same house I'd love to see her."

"Really?" Mila asked.

"Yeah give me the carseat and I'll give it to her when I drop them off." Mila gave her a hug and then walked over to me and gave me a hug. 

"Alright I'll get you files and the things you need to help. Did you know that tight-ass Johnny is Captain of the unit?" I looked at both of them confused. 

"No." Mila nodded. Y/N looked at me and could tell I was confused. "When I was here with her and still worked for S.H.E.I.L.D, I helped her unit and we became friends. I was here for what?" Y/N asked.

"Four years." Mila answered. 

"Yeah, four years. But Johnny Hae was always such a tight-ass, hence tight-ass Johnny, so Mila, some of the other people from the unit, and I called him that." I giggled quietly at the story. It was nice to see her smile this much. She was good with kids. She also had more friends other than Nat and I. I felt better about her being here. I swear she's gonna kill Bucky, though. Before the end of the trip. It's bound to happen. Y/N smiled and walked outside to get Valeria, Ethan, and Peter. 

~Nat's POV~

Bucky and I pulled up to the hotel when I got a call from Y/N. I didn't put her on speaker, to spare her the anger. 

"Hey, Whatchu got?" I asked.

"Can I not just call to check on you?" I heard a baby laugh in the background and Y/N laugh at it.

"Who's kid is that?"  I asked and Bucky shot me a confused glace. I mouthed Y/N's name and he rolled his eyes. 

"Mila baby boy, Ethan. I've got her daughter with me, too." Y/N said. She didn't seemed fazed by it. She made it seem like it was just another Thursday night. "I've got to drop them off at their grandparents house, and we'll be headed back to the hotel." She explained. "Forty-five minutes tops." 

"Okay, bye. See you soon." I said through the phone. 

"See you soon, Nat. Valeria ca-,"  The phone cut off before she got to finish her sentence. I walked in with Bucky and made it up to our room. Well 'Jackson and Megan's' room, Steve and I were staying in this room. Bucky was staying in 'Kayden's' room. When I walked in Steve was sitting on the edge of the bed watching the News.

"These Sons of Samoa aren't even on the News' radar." He said after Bucky shut the door. I walked to him and he gave me a hug. I smiled at the embrace and leaned up to kiss him but Bucky coughed. Steve chuckled and I rolled my eyes. 

"Y/N will be here in about forty minutes. In her time twenty-five minutes. So I'm just gonna lay down and chill out 'till then." I smiled and went to the bed. Steve came and layed down next to me. 

"I'm gonna go to my room and unpack." Bucky said and left. When I heard the door shut I got on top Steve and straddled on his lap.

"Finally." I said kissing him deeply as his
