Chapter 29

~Tony's POV~

I got an alert on my phone that the ballroom had activity. I never used the room. Maybe for like throwback parties. I checked the security feed and I saw two people who looked very similar to Y/N and Barnes. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder.

"Is that?" I heard Nat's voice and I nodded my head.

"Ninja Belle and Manchurian Candidate? Yep." I laughed. They were dancing to the song that sounded familiar. "That song," 

"Is the song she played when she first got to the compound." She sat down next me and played the video where she was on the balcony playing.

"God, I remember when she used to play like that." I said, recalling the memories. "I don't remember the last time I heard her play. I have the piano sitting in the common room and she doesn't even play anymore." I said.

"She played the day we arrived in LA actually. Well the guitar, at least. She played at the Karaoke Bar." My eyes widened. I heard a scream on the tablet. I quickly picked it up but not long after I heard laughter.

"You know what, screw you and Cap being the dream couple." I said. I showed her the tablet. "They are 'Couple Goals'." She laughed and got up. I still realized that Y/N or Nat still don't know what Steve and I know about her parents. I've been steering clear of Wanda. I looked back at the ballroom and they were gone. "Dear god." I didn't want to think about it. "Hey, Nat?" She looked up from pouring her drink.

"Yeah?" She asked.

"What happened between her and Barnes. They hate each other and then they go all Bella and Edward on each other." She tilted her head. "I watched Twilight."

"Well, um," She took a sip of her drink. "We all thought that Bucky had killed her parents, right?" I nodded confidently, then shook my head slowly.

"I'm guessing that's not the case now?" She nodded. ]

"Y/N said that Yolanda's father ordered the kill on her father. That her mother was just collateral damage." She sighed.

"So Barnes was the ordered killer?" She shook her head.

"No. Bucky had nothing to do with the murder of her parents."

"The scar on her collarbone?"

"He was there, but he didn't kill them." She said and didn't answer my question. I nodded. "I guess from what Wanda tells me they were already seeing each other. So feelings could have come up during this rendezvous they had."

"I guess so."

"But you didn't see the way she ran into his arms." I nodded.

"But I understand." I said. "But Cap and I have something to tell you." She looked at me with her 'Nat Look'. "Oh, god. I hate that look. It's scary." She rolled her eyes.

~Bucky's POV~

It was the next morning, Y/N was wearing my T-shirt and was into her underwear. I was in sweatpants. She was laying in my lap, playing the song that was playing when we were dancing last night. I was playing with her hair while she plucked at the chords.

"How did you learn how to play?" I asked.

"My mom would let me strum while she held the chords. My hands couldn't stretch across the neck of the guitar. The red room gave us one extra talent to choose from and I chose the music category. Then Hydra gave me a guitar and piano to play because of my experience." She stopped playing and looked up at me. "I learned a lot."

"You play piano, too. Damn." I leaned down and kissed her.

"Mmh." She pulled away. "Don't start something you can't finish, Barnes." I shook my head and smiled.

"Oh, I plan on finishing it." I took the guitar and put it on the ground. I moved so I was on top of her. She started laughing and I kissed her neck. But then there was a knock on the door. I got up to answer it.

"Finish it my ass." I heard her mumble. I shook my head and answered the door. 

"Tony wants you both in the meeting room in fifteen." I nodded. He walked away and I shut the door. I turned around and I smiled.

"No. No. Bucky, no!" She yelled

"I hear 'Yes! Yes! Bucky, yes!'" I mocked. I walked closer and she moved back on the bed.

"Bucky. No. We have to go and talk to Tony." She was shaking her head. I climbed on top of her. I kissed her neck. She was laughing. "Come on." I leaned up and kissed her on the lips.

"Fine." I got off of her and started to walk off. 

"Wait!" She said and ran up to me and wrapped her arms around me. I leaned down and kissed her. I let her go and turned around. She slapped my ass. I quickly turned around and she smiled and went to get dressed. I laughed quietly to myself. I just grabbed a shirt, switched my sweatpants for jeans, and put on boots. I walked out and she was leaning against her door wearing a dark red t-shirt with a dragon on it, light blue jeans, and black boots. "Hi." She said.

"What happened to my t-shirt?"

"Waiting for us when we get back from this meeting with Tony." She smiled. When we got down to the meeting room Banner was already standing there waiting for us there. "We're here, is Tony calling here?"

"Yeah, Tony's right here." Tony's voice said and we looked at the TV. Y/N sat down and I sat down next to her.

"What's up, Tony?" She asked.

"Um, Yeah. I-, uh." He was stuttering. "Nat has something to tell you." He said and pulled Nat into view.

"Really, Tony." She said.

"Hey to be fair, she's scarier than you are." I smiled and I hid the smile when Y/N turned around to look at me. I shook my head and when she turned her head I looked at Bruce and nodded. He smiled and looked back at the TV.

"So, Y/N. It's about your parents." I saw her head jerk straight to Nat's face.

"With that tone, it doesn't sound like it's good." Y/N said.
