Two months. It's been two months since you found out about the bet. You thought you'd be better off without Bucky. After all he was a jerk and totally deserves to be alone, but you miss him.

The first week, you were a wreck. You couldn't do anything. You ate pizza and watched "The Notebook", "She's all That", and "Last Christmas" way to many times.

The second week, you got a new job as an assistant for some company and started taking care of yourself.

It was smooth sailing for two months until yesterday. Yesterday when he showed up. And now today, he lays next to you in your bed.

And no you're not talking about Bucky. You're talking about John. The man you dated before you and Bucky dat—well, whatever that was.

Even though you don't like Bucky, you hate John. Bucky wouldn't get you drunk and then manipulate you into sleeping with him. John would. In fact, that's what he did yesterday.

Now you're currently trying to shove him out of your apartment. "I really think we should give us a shot." John says.

"No!" You yell as you continue to push him out the door.

You open the door and see Bucky about to knock. His eyes are red and his hair is a mess. There's dark spots under his eyes. He looks at you with sadness in his eyes, until he sees John. The sadness quickly changes to anger.

"What the fuck are you doing here!" He asks John.

"Just hanging out with my girlfriend." John says as he slings his arm around your shoulders.

"Get off of me!" You yell as you push John off.

Bucky steps inside of your apartment and shoves John out. You close the door and lock it. Right now, you don't care if Bucky's inside, you just want John out.

"Y/n I-"

"What are you doing here?" You ask Bucky. "God you look terrible." You say.

"You look beautiful. You always somehow look beautiful." Bucky says.

"When was the last time you showered?" You ask.

"I miss you." Bucky says ignoring your question, which scares you.

"Why are you here?" You ask.

"I want you—need you back. I can't live without you. Please doll I—I—I'll do anything please." Bucky says as he cups your face with his hands. You swat them away.

"You don't deserve me." You say as you walk away from him. "I deserve someone who didn't make a bet about me. Who asked me out because they wanted to. Not for money."

"I did want to ask you out. I was gonna before Sam and I made the bet." Bucky says.

"Why should I believe you?" You ask.

"Because I love you." Bucky says.

"I don't believe you. For all I know you could still be betting on me." You say.

Bucky sighs deeply. "I'll do anything to earn your trust again." He says.

"Show me that I can trust you. Show me that you actually care about me. That you actually love me." You say.

"How?" Bucky asks.
