Ron, Harry, Ginny, and Y/N we're in divination class half asleep, and staring at a crystal ball. "Broaden your mind."

The Professor gave the table a thud that jolted the four awake. Y/N shook his head and saw Hermione at the table.

"Do you mind me trying?" Hermione said. Professor Trelawney decided to let her. "The Grimm, possibly." She said.

"My dear, ever since you set foot in my classroom, I since that you didn't possess the natural ability for the noble art of Divination. While you may be young in years your soul is as dry as the pages of the books to which you so desperately cling to." Professor Trelawney said.

Hermione took offense to this and knocked the crystal ball off of it's stand before leaving. "Have I said something?" Professor said.

After class everyone was leaving. "She's gone mental, Hermione has. I mean not that she wasn't always mental, but that was out there for everyone to see." Ron said.

Before Y/N could say anything, the four saw the crystal ball Hermione knocked off it's stand. "We better take this back." Harry said. "Right behind you Harry." Y/N said. "I'm not going back." Ron said. "Well I am. I don't want Harry getting into trouble." Ginny said. "See you later, Ron." Y/N said. "See you." He returned.

The trio placed the crystal ball back before Ginny saw something. It was a man's face. "Potter brothers." It said in a quiet voice.

Harry then felt a hand on his shoulder. It was Professor Trelawney's. "Professor." Harry said surprised. "He will return tonight." She said sounding half possessed.

"Sorry?" Ginny asked. Y/N was stunned by what he was seeing. It looked as if Professor Trelawney's magic core was spiking all around. "Tonight,  he will betray his friends, murder shall be free, innocent blood shall be spilt, and servant and master shall be reunited once more."

After a bit of coughing, Professor Trelawney returned to normal. "So sorry dear kids, did you say something?" She asked. "No we just came to return the crystal ball." Y/N said. He then ushered the others out the door.

It was late afternoon when the five were outside. They saw Warden McNair sharpening a large axe. Y/N heard about him from Hagrid and Arthur as a homicidal maniac who worked for Voldemort.

"I can't believe they're going to kill Buckbeak. It's just too horrible." Hermione said. "Shame the ministry would frown on me slicing up McNair." Y/N said. "You'll get the chance one day." Ginny said.

The five arrived outside and saw Goyle with a pair of binoculars. "Looks like it just got worse." Ron said. Y/N smirked. "What are you planning?" Harry asked. "Not me, just watch." Y/N said.

The five made their way down to where Goyle was. "Lookie here, and here I was planning to donate the hippogriff's head to your house." He said.

"You fool, loathsome, evil little cockroach." Hermione said, pointing her wand at the large boy. "Hermione no, he's not worth it." Ron said.

She slowly lowered her wand and then punched Goyle in the face. His head hit a stone slab behind him, and he made a run for it. "That felt good." She said. Y/N smiled and hugged her on sight. "Best thing you've done all year." He said. Hermione blushed by this.

The five rushed down to Hagrid's hut where Buckbeck was laying in the pumpkin patch with a chain tied to his neck. They went in and Hagrid served tea.

"Look at him, he loves the smell of the trees when the wind blows through them." Hagrid said. "Why don't we set him free?" Harry asked. "They'd know it was me, and Dumbledore would be getting into trouble.” Hagrid said.

"Coming down you know, Dumbledore. Says he wants to be with me when they, when it happens. Great man Dumbledore, great man." Hagrid said.

"We'll stay with you too, Hagrid." Hermione said. "You'll do no such thing. Do you think I want you lot to see that, no. Just drink your tea and be off, oh before you do, Ron." Hagrid said. He then walked over to a jar and pulled out a rat with a missing toe.

"Scabbers, you're alive." Ron said. "Best keep a closer eye on your pets, Ron." "I guess that means you owe someone an apology." Hermione said. "Right, next time I see Crockshanks, I'll let him know." "I meant me."

Before the two of them could go back and forth, something broke one of Hagrid's containers. Hermione looked at it closer and saw a large seed.

Y/N caught another one that would have hit Harry and saw three people heading for the hut. "Hagrid, we got company."

Hagrid looked out and saw them. "It's late, if they find you lot outside the castle there will be trouble, big trouble, particularly Harry and Y/N." There was a knock at the door. "Be with you in a moment." The five left through the back, but not before Harry gave Hagrid some comforting words.

They got behind a pumpkin large enough to hide them when a snap of a twig caught Hermione's attention. "What is it?" Y/N said. "I thought I just saw, nevermind." She told him. "Let's go." Ron said.

The five stopped once they were on the hilltop and watched as McNair approached Buckbeck. Y/N was tempted to use one of his swords to stop him, but he knew it wouldn't do any good.

McNair raised his axe and brought it down as hard as he could.

Ginny was crying in Harry's chest, Hermione did the same thing with Y/N. The two hugged them, with Y/N tempted to incinerate McNair on the spot. Ron ended up dropping Scabbers after he bit him and made a run for it. Ron chased after him.

The others were chasing him until they were in front of the whomping willow. "The three of you do realize what tree this is." Hermione said. "That's not good, Ron, Ron." Harry said.

Ron looked up and had a terrified look on his face. "Guys run, it's the Grim." The four looked behind them and saw a large black dog with shaggy fur. Y/N immediately took out his wand and was ready to change when it jumped over the four of them and went directly for Ron.

It grabbed him and drug him underneath the whomping willow, with Ron screaming all the way. The rest looked down and a tunnel until the tree hit all four of them at once.

Ron's screaming was heard and the four behind running for the tunnel. They dodged the first tree branches fine, but Harry took a shot to the chest when everyone else ducked.

Harry was looking for his glasses. Hermione ended up riding a branch. Ginny was dodging and running for the tunnel. Y/N was blocking the tree's attacks.

Harry eventually was on his feet and his glasses were on when Hermione grabbed him by the front of his shirt and was flying through the air with him.

Ginny was in the tunnel when Hermione threw Harry into it. He ended up landing on her and the two looked at each other's eyes for a moment.

Y/N was inside and Hermione flew in his arms. "Thank you." She said. "No problem." Harry got up and helped Ginny to her feet. "Where do you think this goes?" Ginny asked. "I have a hunch, I just hope I'm wrong."

The four then went into the tunnel looking for Ron and the black dog, but didn't know what they were going to find would turn everything on it's head.
