Harry and Y/N Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

CHAPTER 15: ANIMAL FIGHT AND PATRONUS

"Y/N!" Hermione said. A full moon became visible from behind the clouds.

Remus began to slowly transform into a werewolf. His eyes turned colors and he dropped his wand.

Sirius rushed over to him. "Remus, my friend, have you taken your potion tonight. You know the man you truly are, Remus, your heart is where you truly live. This heart here. This flesh is only flesh." Sirius said, trying to help him.

During the mayhem, Peter picked up the wand Lupin dropped and pointed it at himself. "Expelliarmus." Harry said, disarming Peter of the wand.

He was too late, Peter turned into a rat and scurried off. Harry was about to give chase, but Ginny stopped him.

Lupin turned full werewolf. Hermione approached him. "Professor, Professor Lupin." She said.
The wolf howled at the moon and was getting ready to attack.

Professor Snape was on his feet and made his way to the five. "There you are, Potter." He said. He then turned and saw Lupin in his werewolf form and shielded the students with his body, only to be knocked down by the werewolf.

A dog immerged from behind him and attacked the wolf. Y/N knew who it was and motioned to Harry to follow him.

The dog and werewolf fight each other hard, only for the wolf to throw him to the ground. Snape, Ginny, Hermione, and Ron thought things couldn't get worse, but things were actually about to get better.

Just before the werewolf could attack again, a stag and a lion appeared in front of the group.

The Stag was smaller in appearance than a normal one and it's antlers were just showing, but it like it wasn't going to run from the werewolf. It's mostly distinguishing feature was the lightning bolt scar just under the antlers.

The lion wasn't as small as the stag, but it was smaller than the others hoped for and it's mane hasn't fully grown, but it was here for a fight. It's most distinguishing feature was the scar on the right eye.

The werewolf ran at the stag, only for it to raise it's legs and began kicking at it. The werewolf put some distance between himself and the stag, only to be attacked.

The lion rushed at the wolf and began to use it's fangs and claws. The two rolled away from the wizards and witches, with the stag right behind them.

The dog jumped back into the fray and landed in between the two larger animals. Standing with the lion. The stag joined the two and the three made a stand against the werewolf.

The werewolf, dog, and lion were walking in a circle snarling at each other. The stag was walking in the same circle, but it didn't snarl. It just simply wasn't intimated by the werewolf.

Snape was floored by what he was saw. He knew that the dark forest held all kinds of creatures, but he had never heard of a stag and a lion in the forest. He then gave it some thought and realized that it wasn't a normal pair of animals. It was the Potter twins.

Ginny knew that Harry and Y/N were giving them time to escape, but she couldn't help but be amazed by what she was seeing.

Hermione had never seen Y/N in his lion state before. It was supposed to be kept secret, but knew that if there was a time to use it, it was when Lupin changed into a werewolf.

Ron couldn't help but be amazed by what he was seeing. He knew that Y/N was a lion, but honestly expected Harry to be an owl.

The Animagi and werewolf clashed in an all out fight. The lion would take front and attack directly biting and scratching the werewolf. The dog would move above or below the lion and attack the werewolf with it's teeth. The stag would use it's antlers to charge and batter and legs to kick, causing some damage.

But the werewolf wasn't without it's own methods, using the same biting and scratching as the lion, only with more throwing available to it.

Eventually, all four combatants were tired out. The stag got dizzy from using it's antlers as a weapon. The werewolf was overwhelmed by the numbers advantage his opponents had. The lion was struggling to get up. The dog had the worst of it, being both injured and exhausted.

The werewolf was back on it's feet and was making it's way to the dog, but the lion was about to jump onto the werewolf for another round.

Before the wolf could get to it's target howling was heard and the werewolf went after it. The Animagi went to the lake and changed back to humans.

"Wow, I didn't expect that to happen." Harry said, with his head spinning. "What were you expecting, pup?" Sirius said, getting a drink of water. "How about the three of us dead?" Y/N said, deciding to lay down and rest. "Pretty much." Harry said. "Agreed." Sirius said. The three had a laugh at this, but the good feeling didn't last long.

The lake began to freeze, and the trio knew what that meant. Dementors weren't far away. Harry and Y/N took out their wands and waited for them to arrive.

It didn't take long, the dementors showed up in a slow moving cyclone of black. One of them moved at the trio, but Harry stopped it. "Expecto patronum."

A silver shield appeared and blocked two of the dementors before it dropped. "Expecto patronum." Y/N said.

Another shield appeared and was able to redirect four of them before it too was dropped. The dementors fed on all of the good feeling that the three of them had, and a small blue ball appeared out of Sirius's mouth.

A silver weasel appeared and blasted light waves radiating from it were driving the dementors away from them.

The small ball return to Sirius, causing him to reawaken and the small silver weasel disappear, and the trio passed out, but not before Y/N saw an impression of Professor Snape heading their way.
