After the Gorog was released, Blake and Cal found themselves confronted by the massive creature. As Blake and Cal readied their Lightsabers, the Gorog slams it's fists into the ground. Blake and Cal jumped in opposite directions, separating the two. Cal then contacts Blake via comlink.
Cal(Comlink): Tell me you still use the same comm channel....
Blake: I hear you!
Cal(Comlink): You got good timing, Blake! I don't know how much longer I was gonna last....
Blake: No time, Cal! What the hell is this thing?!
Cal(Comlink): I don't know, but it's big!
Blake: As if I couldn't tell! Now how do I kill it?!
Cal(Comlink): I'm not sure you can!
As Cal said this, the Gorog lets out a near deafening roar. The Gorog then proceeds to slam it's fists at Blake, who uses the Force to get out of the way. Blake follows through by shooting a blast of Force Lightning on the Gorog's arms. It did nothing to the Gorog except anger it.
Cal(Comlink): I'm going after the Baron! He's too important to let get away.
Blake: How am I supposed to hurt this thing?!
Cal(Comlink): Try powering those wrist restraints! Give it a good shock!
Immediately after Cal said this, Blake fired a powerful blast of Force Lightning onto the Gorog's wrist restraints. The resulting shock temporarily stuns the beast, allowing Blake to use the Force to snare the Gorog's arms into the restraint systems built into the arena. Blake leapt onto the creature's head. With a combination of lightsaber strikes and concentrated blasts of Force Lightning, Blake was able to injure the beast. In it's pain, the Gorog burst free from its restraints and swiped Blake off it's head, sending him flying into the arena supports above.
Cal(Comlink): Looks like we won't be able to restrain that thing! We need to take it out of commision!
Blake: If you got a plan, Cal, I'm all ears!
Cal(Comlink): It's a hanging city, right? See what you can do about those supports!
Blake: Are you insane?! That'll bring the entire city down on our heads!
Cal(Comlink): Got a better idea?
Blake: Not really, no.
With that, Blake sets out to take out the support beams of the arena. She looks down to see the Gorog pursuing her. At this point, Imperial forces stationed in the arena began to engage the Gorog.
Blake: I've got a bad feeling about this....
As Blake says this, the Gorog quickly caught up with her. Left with no other choice, Blake runs from the Gorog in an attempt to get the creature to destroy the support beams. During the Gorog's pursuit of Blake, she managed to get the rampaging Gorog to destroy the support beams. The causes the arena to slowly break apart. The Gorog then seemingly falls off the floating arena. After that, Blake makes her way to the Baron's executive box, which had it's own separate support beam. When she joined up with Cal, he was engaged in combat with the Baron as well as a squadron of Stormtroopers.
Baron: Kill them! Kill them all!
As the Stormtroopers fired on Blake and Cal, Blake and Cal managed to cut them down without much effort. Once the Stormtroopers were cleared out, Blake and Cal cornered the Baron.
Cal: Alright, Baron. You're coming with us.
Suddenly, the Gorog grabbed hold of the box in an attempt to avoid falling, causing it to tip. Quickly losing his balance, the Baron slips and begins sliding off the box. Desperately trying to grab a hold of something, the Baron looks down to see the Gorog's hand grabbing him.
Baron: No! No! NOOOOOOO!
The Gorog then proceeds to devour the Baron. Before Blake and Cal could react, the Gorog reached in and seized Kota before it lost its grip and fell.
Blake: CAL!
Without hesitation, Blake jumps off the box and pursues the Gorog. She uses the Force to increase her velocity and dodging falling debris. She propelled himself at the Gorog as the beast slowly crushes Cal in it's hands.
Blake: (I'm not letting you die today, Cal!)
As Blake caught up with the Gorog, she fires a powerful blast of Force Lightning at the Gorog. This causes the Gorog to scream in pain. However, it still maintained a tight grip on Cal.
Blake: HANG ON, CAL!
It was at this point that Blake needed to act now. It wasn't long until they the ground. Such a fall would prove fatal for both Blake and Cal even if they used to Gorog to cushion their fall. She then propels herself to the Gorog's chest. She then unleashes a concentrated blast of Force Lightning into it's torso. As the Lightning coursed through the beast's body, it eventually reached it's heart. The Lightning soon stopped the Gorog's heart, effectively killing it. The Gorog went limp and released Cal. Despite the Gorog's death, Blake and Cal were still in danger of falling to their deaths.
Cal: You don't have a way out of this, do you?!
Blake: I wasn't exactly thinking that far ahead!
Cal: Well good thing I have a backup! Let's just hope she reaches us in time!
In that moment, Cal activates a remote transponder that he had concealed on his person. Immediately following this, the Stinger Mantis swooped beneath Blake and Cal. As Blake and Cal got onboard the Stinger Mantis, the Stinger Mantis promptly leaves Cato Neimoidia. In escaping Cato Neimoidia, Blake was successful in rescuing Cal Kestis. Blake now found herself closer to finding Yang Xiao Long. But what she didn't know was that Darth Vader was already preparing to hunt down the clone of Blake Belladonna.
