"You know what? I never like it when your Grandpuppy leaves me behind while going to visit Uncle Aiden. On top of that, your father had decided to go hunting with your Aunty and the boys in hopes to win against her."
"He's going to get a healthy dose of reality check, isn't he?"
"He will win, I am sure of it, Athena!! I have full faith in my daddy!!"
"So do I, my pretty little pearl. I don't mean any offense, but I will have the medicine kit ready, just in case."
"Momma!!"
"At this rate, he's definitely going to get his hind handed back to him. What do you say, Mother?"
"As far as my duty as his best friend and dearest wife compels me, I would say that Phoebus could easily do it. Unfortunately, my common sense and logic doesn't seem to agree to that."
"Knew it."
"Momma!! You're supposed to be on daddy's side!!"
"Oh sweetheart, I am still on your daddy's side, believe me. On that happy note, why don't you tell me about what you want to do when Phoebus will return from his little trip?"
Lyra nodded happily while sipping her glass of milk and then taking a bite of her chocolate chip cookies. "I will take daddy to that new playground on Olympus that Aunty Rara got made for us kids!! And after coming home, we can have a sword fight!!"
"She definitely seems to be too energetic today.", Athena mused out.
Atlanta nodded with a smile. "That she is. Phoebus and I have finally returned to our duties once again, and Lyra and Cygnus do not seem to appreciate Uncle Zoos' presence in comparison to ours. We are generally gone for a good part of the day, and that has gotten them both upset. Even Ares isn't happy with the arrangement, and he is already a grown man."
"Ares is a kid, no matter what he says.", Athena replied with a smirk. "He doesn't count."
"You all are kids to me.", Atlanta corrected the Wisdom Goddess. "Other than Tri and Arty of course. I have a blood feud going on with them. They stole my chocolates."
Lyra asked curiously. "Even daddy is a kid to you?"
Atlanta sighed. "He's my best friend, sweetie. And with the way I always have to get him out of trouble every single time, I would say that he isn't far from being called a kid at all."
Then winking at her giggling children, the Goddess of Wit added. "Don't tell your daddy, though. Otherwise he will pout at me for the rest of the day in retaliation."
"Promise!! Even Cyg the stupid and Heph won't see it coming!!", Lyra giggled in delight.
"Little pearl, we have talked about this. No bad mouthing your elder brother.", Atlanta scolded her daughter gently.
Lyra tilted her head in confusion. "But you hate Uncle Tri for taking your chocolates?"
"He doesn't count, sweetcakes.", Atlanta waved off dismissively. "It was about chocolates. He had that one coming. I filled his bathtub with piranhas. He knows that I did it, but he can't prove it, and better yet, daddy is mad at him too. Revenge is really sweet."
Athena merely shook her head before falling back on the couch in the living room with a sigh.
"Honestly, is it concerning that Lyra and Cygnus speak like this with each other? I mean, the insults? Calliope and her sisters are also siblings, but they don't do that.", Athena asked in wonder.
