To say that the daughter of Poseidon was amused and exasperated at the same time would be the understatement of five centuries.
The day when the married couple would leave for the abode of the Gods with Jimmy and Dodo once more, and Chiron would leave for the mortal world, has finally come. All her boys were busy making the last minute preparations and she was impressed to see that even Jimmy was hurriedly taking eucalyptus leaves from the nearby trees on the instruction of Dodo the arrow which he carried around, and dumping them all in her suitcase.
Seems like she would have to clean her suitcase thoroughly when she got back.
But that doesn't mean it wasn't cute to watch all her boys panic and bump into each other while making sure that they had everything they needed. She had already done her packing two days ago and had advised them to do the same.
Unfortunately, her sister-in-law seemed to be correct in her assessment of low intelligence level of boys, and now they were stuck doing things at the last moment before they left the island.
Alright, she couldn't say that she did her packing, but that doesn't mean that she didn't try to do it.
She had to hand the praise of doing that task in her stead to her beloved husband and best friend, Phoebus.
After Atlanta had told him about her pregnancy and the real reason why his sister came to visit them, her Phoebus had smiled giddily and cupped her face before kissing her repeatedly on her forehead, nose, cheeks and everywhere else on her face. In his excitement, he began to glow so brightly in their room that it had scared Jimmy when he had come into the living room to get some water, and the koala had scurried back to sleep with his brothers.
From that day onwards, her husband dearest had made her swear by their best friend code that she won't take up her sword for any reason until the first two months of their child's birth. In order to make up for her being unable to properly defend herself during her pregnancy, her best friend had literally vowed to stick by her side as if attached by glue. In fact, he had even taken her morning sickness and constant tiredness in stride, sitting beside her while helping her feel better in the mornings, and putting her on bed rest which she didn't even try to argue about.
They had told their children in the morning after about getting a new sibling. After getting the reassurance by the couple that they won't ever forget them or replace them with their own child, Chiron got excited about getting to be an older brother, while Jimmy outright attacked Apollo under Dodo's furious command to protect their mistress from any threats, namely Apollo, as the both of them thought that it was their duty to protect their unborn joey sibling as well.
Not minding her husband's undignified yelp on being attacked all of a sudden, Atlanta personally thought that it was cute that they were already in love with the idea of being big brothers to her and Phoebus' child.
Her Phoebus rarely ever lets her do anything anymore, and is adamant that she should not strain herself and that he be there if she decided to do small tasks like taking strolls in the western forests. In those three months, it was as if her husband had fallen in love with her all over again, and he never let her rise from her sleep in the morning or go to sleep at night without letting her know that he loved her and their child. That was one of the main reasons why Atlanta had no insecurity issues either, since her husband practically worshipped the ground which she walked on and reminded her about his love for her all the time.
Atlanta couldn't help but love her husband a bit more every day.
Again, it is hard not to, when the man she loved treated her like a queen, kissed the soft skin of her stomach and sang and talked to their child in hushed whispers about her when he thought that she was asleep, and was ready to read each and every wish from her eyes.
