the next week, the day donghyuck was suppose to meet mark for no reason, donghyuck felt sick.

he has been throwing up countless of times and his head was so light he just saw blury things when his head starts to malfunction, letting his vision spin. johnny was out in his office as usual, so donghyuck had to get things himself such as now, he needed medicine which had run out since between him and his uncle, no one ever got really sick like he is right now.

he tried to recall what he might had eaten that can make him like this right now. probably the overly clean and expensive meal that chenle had treated him and his three other friends? it couldn't be, though he may have threw up that day because of too much food and it was way long ago last week for the sickness to kick in.

he cancelled the meeting with mark by texting him saying that he had personal needs that he needed to take care of and grabbed the house keys to lock it from the front since johnny was out in a meeting that friday. he made an absent excuse for his classes that day and went off to the pharmacy to buy some meds.

"that would be all?" asked the woman there who smiled at him, a hint of worry on her face that was left unnoticed by sick donghyuck. he nodded and paid the right amount before leaving almost immediately from the white room before going to cross the road again. seeing his vision blur so much, he didn't see the green light turning into a red light, thinking that it was the walker's sign to walk over the zebra cross.

however, he was dead wrong.

he walked pretty slowly across the road and didn't see a fast car zooming towards him with great speed. stopping in the middle from the migraine attack, he didn't know what to do as he noticed he flashing lights late that the car hit him. he felt his body crash over to the car and hit his head on the glass of the car, making a great impact to his head.

he shouted in pain once the glass shattered and hit both his eyes. everything felt unreal. the pain was too great to be felt. he felt lifeless, almost. just hearing a few people shout in terror and fear. he heard too that a man was calling the ambulance which came right after donghyuck felt his body giving up. the sound of the wailing siren of the ambulance was the last thing he heard before he blacked out. and the blinking light of the ride was what he saw last.
